Blaize Holdings, Inc. has officially entered a three-way strategic collaboration with Nokia and PT Datacomm Diangraha to accelerate the deployment of hybrid AI inference infrastructure across Indonesia and the broader Asia-Pacific (APAC) region. This partnership builds on the earlier alliance between Nokia and Blaize announced in January 2026, along with a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed between Blaize and Datacomm during GITEX AI Asia 2026.

By combining their unique strengths, the three companies have created a unified, pre-validated technology stack and go-to-market strategy. As a result, enterprises and public-sector organizations can now deploy AI faster, more cost-effectively, and with improved operational reliability.

Indonesia Emerges as a Key AI Growth Hub

Indonesia is currently experiencing a rapid surge in AI adoption. According to the Empowering Indonesia Report 2025, sovereign AI alone could contribute up to $140 billion to the nation’s GDP by 2030, driving annual growth of nearly 6.8%. Furthermore, the broader AI sector is expanding at an impressive 31% CAGR—the highest in Southeast Asia.

Consequently, industries across government, telecommunications, and manufacturing are shifting focus. Instead of questioning whether to adopt AI, organizations are now prioritizing how to implement it efficiently at scale. Datacomm has witnessed this transformation firsthand, reinforcing the need for scalable and cost-effective AI infrastructure.

Hybrid AI: A Balanced Compute Approach

At the core of this collaboration lies the hybrid AI model. Nokia provides robust infrastructure to support GPU-intensive workloads, including telco RAN, cloud inference, and AI training. Meanwhile, Blaize delivers energy-efficient AI inference solutions specifically designed for enterprise edge environments where power and cost constraints are critical.

“The combination of Nokia’s validated networking infrastructure and Blaize’s energy-efficient inference compute is uniquely positioned for the enterprise edge. GPU economics simply do not scale to thousands of distributed sites — but Blaize does. This is not about replacing GPUs; it is about deploying the right compute where it delivers the most value.”
Dinakar Munagala, CEO, Blaize

Unified Strength: Three Companies, One Vision

Nokia contributes advanced networking capabilities, including optical data center connectivity and edge infrastructure, supported by its Singapore Innovation Lab for solution validation. Blaize enhances the ecosystem with programmable, low-power AI platforms capable of handling workloads such as video analytics and logistics optimization.

“This three-way collaboration represents exactly the kind of outcome-driven partnership the market needs right now. As the trusted global provider of advanced connectivity, Nokia’s role is to make hybrid AI deployable at scale — connecting the cloud to the far edge with a level of reliability, security, and automation that enterprise customers can build real businesses on. With Blaize on compute and Datacomm on the ground in Indonesia, we have the complete picture.”
Dion Leung, Head of AI and Cloud, Asia Pacific, Nokia

Datacomm, with over 30 years of experience, ensures seamless deployment across Indonesia’s complex infrastructure landscape.

“Our partnership with Nokia has been the backbone of our infrastructure capabilities for more than two decades. Adding Blaize to that foundation gives us something genuinely new: the ability to take AI inference to our customers at the edge — in the sectors and at the scale that Indonesia’s digital transformation actually requires. This is a strategic move, and the timing is right.”
Tan Wie Tjin, President Director, PT. Datacomm Diangraha

Future Outlook: Indonesia as APAC Blueprint

Looking ahead, the partners aim to rapidly convert their MoU into revenue-generating deployments across key sectors. Additionally, Indonesia will serve as a reference market for expansion into Vietnam, the Philippines, and other Southeast Asian economies. With 89% of enterprises prioritizing digital sovereignty, the demand for localized and scalable AI solutions continues to rise.
