ERMProtect has announced an expansion of its cybersecurity offerings with the appointment of Georgios Mortakis as a consultant. In his new role, Mortakis will help lead the development and delivery of strategic service offerings, strengthening the firm’s ability to support enterprise clients across increasingly complex digital environments.

Mortakis brings nearly three decades of experience in cybersecurity and IT leadership, including senior roles at Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Sony Electronics Latin America, and ILG, Inc.. His background spans enterprise IT operations, cloud transformation initiatives, and round-the-clock operational resilience programs. Notably, he previously worked with ERMProtect earlier in his career, serving as Director of IT Security when the firm operated as Enterprise Risk Management.

With this appointment, ERMProtect is enhancing its capabilities to deliver stronger protection, deeper operational visibility, and faster incident response across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid infrastructures. The addition of Mortakis also enables the company to bring Fortune 500-level expertise directly to its clients, particularly in executive advisory and enterprise-wide cybersecurity implementation.

Under his leadership, the firm is introducing new service lines focused on comprehensive cybersecurity program implementation. These services are designed to help organizations align their security strategies with business objectives and regulatory requirements, covering everything from initial risk assessments and architecture design to deployment and long-term optimization.

ERMProtect is also expanding its support for deploying advanced security solutions across enterprise environments. This includes guiding organizations in integrating technologies such as endpoint detection and response, network monitoring, traffic inspection, and segmentation ensuring that security controls are effectively embedded into daily operations.

As cyber threats continue to grow in scale and sophistication, ERMProtect’s latest move reflects a broader industry shift toward holistic, strategy-driven cybersecurity. By combining leadership expertise with practical implementation support, the firm aims to help organizations build resilient, future-ready security frameworks.
