As organizations seek faster and more scalable ways to identify vulnerabilities, automation is reshaping offensive security practices across the cybertech ecosystem. Strobes Security has introduced a new solution with the launch of its proprietary AI Harness, designed to deliver full scope penetration testing in a fraction of traditional timelines.
The Strobes AI Harness is a multi agent orchestration engine that enables end to end AI driven penetration testing across cloud, web, API, and enterprise environments. The platform is built to address a long standing bottleneck in cybersecurity, where pentesting delays are often caused not by technical complexity but by fragmented workflows and coordination overhead.
Traditional penetration testing involves multiple stages such as reconnaissance, enumeration, exploitation, validation, and reporting, typically executed in sequence. This process can take weeks to complete. Strobes aims to eliminate these delays by running all stages in parallel using specialized AI agents that collaborate in real time.
“Why does a pentest still take three weeks in 2026?” said Venu Rao, CEO and Co Founder of Strobes. “It’s the coordination overhead, the context switching, and the serial nature of the process. Our AI Harness runs these workstreams in parallel, around the clock, delivering output on par with a senior pentester in a fraction of the time.”
At the core of the system is a supervisor agent that breaks down security objectives into discrete tasks and assigns them to domain specific agents. These include agents for cloud security, web application testing, API validation, network reconnaissance, and code review. Additional agents handle threat intelligence and compliance mapping, ensuring that findings align with frameworks such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, and PCI DSS.
The platform leverages advanced AI models, including integrations with Anthropic through AWS Bedrock, to power its analysis and decision making capabilities. Agents share structured data and operate continuously, enabling rapid identification of vulnerabilities and generation of actionable insights.
In early deployments, the Strobes AI Harness demonstrated the ability to scan large cloud environments, identify critical vulnerabilities within hours, and automatically generate remediation tickets and client ready reports. Full scope web application penetration tests can be completed in under 48 hours, significantly reducing time to insight and response.
Despite its automation, the platform maintains human oversight through approval workflows for actions with real world impact. Each engagement is executed within a secure workspace that records agent activity, ensuring transparency, traceability, and compliance with enterprise security requirements.
The solution also integrates with widely used enterprise tools, allowing findings to flow directly into ticketing systems, reporting platforms, and security operations workflows. This helps close the gap between vulnerability discovery and remediation, enabling faster response and improved risk management.
The Strobes AI Harness reflects a broader shift toward AI driven security operations, where speed, scalability, and accuracy are critical. As cyber threats continue to evolve, platforms that can automate complex workflows while maintaining control and accountability will play a key role in modernizing cybersecurity practices.
