Mvix has introduced a new GovSec layer for its Digital Signage CMS, enabling secure integration with Microsoft Power BI GCC and GCC High environments. The update is designed to help government agencies and defense-related organizations display sensitive data on digital signage systems while maintaining strict compliance standards. The new capability allows organizations handling Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and other regulated data to securely stream dashboards and reports from protected cloud environments to shared displays. These include command centers, operations hubs, secure offices, and other controlled settings where real-time visibility is critical.
The GovSec layer addresses a longstanding challenge in public sector environments extending the value of data visualization tools like Power BI into physical spaces without introducing security risks. By integrating directly with GCC and GCC High environments, Mvix enables organizations to display mission-critical insights without relying on insecure workarounds.
Mike Kilian, Executive Vice President at Mvix, said the solution helps agencies operationalize trusted data in real-world environments while aligning with their security and compliance requirements.
The GovSec layer is purpose built for organizations operating in highly regulated sectors such as government, defense, and aerospace. It enhances the Mvix platform with tighter controls over how cloud-based content is accessed, managed, and displayed. This enables a wide range of use cases, including performance monitoring, operational readiness tracking, program status , and executive dashboards all within secure environments.
Industry partners see the integration as a key step forward. Tom Kusiak, Vice President of Sales at VIcom, noted that while many organizations have invested heavily in secure Microsoft ecosystems, there has been a gap in extending those insights to shared visual systems. He said Mvix effectively closes that gap by enabling secure, compliant signage workflows.
The launch reflects a broader trend toward modernizing communication in government and regulated industries. As organizations prioritize secure cloud adoption and data-driven decision-making, the ability to unify analytics and visual communication within compliant frameworks is becoming increasingly important With the GovSec layer, Mvix strengthens its position in enterprise digital signage, offering a solution tailored for complex, compliance-driven environments. The Power BI GCC and GCC High integration is now available as part of the GovSec-enabled Mvix Digital Signage CMS for qualified government and contractor deployments.
