In a strategic move to reinforce cybersecurity across government ecosystems, Iothic and Carahsoft Technology Corp. have announced a new partnership aimed at transforming network security for public sector agencies. Through this collaboration, Carahsoft will act as Iothic’s official Public Sector distributor, enabling broader access to Iothic’s advanced CORE (d)OISP™ platform via its extensive reseller network and established government contract vehicles.
As cyber threats continue to evolve at an unprecedented pace, this partnership arrives at a critical time. Notably, Iothic’s decentralized Open Interoperable Security Protocol introduces a modern framework for authentication and digital identity management. Unlike traditional systems that depend on static credentials such as certificates and keys, CORE leverages ephemeral, machine-generated synchronization keys, thereby significantly reducing the attack surface.
Highlighting the urgency of this transformation, “In an age of AI-speed warfare, we can no longer afford to ‘manage’ risk; We must mathematically eliminate it—Iothic Core is the first step toward a truly unhackable nation,” said William Sullivan, CEO of Iothic. “Partnering with Carahsoft is a significant milestone in expanding the reach of our security platform to the Public Sector, and we are pleased to be part of a collaboration that provides streamlined access to our solution that will further protect Government agencies’ mission-critical assets.”
Furthermore, the CORE platform enhances authentication processes while strengthening data integrity across complex digital infrastructures. By eliminating reliance on stored credentials, it directly addresses one of the most exploited vulnerabilities in modern cybersecurity—credential-based attacks. Consequently, government agencies can achieve stronger protection while simplifying access management.
In addition, the platform aligns seamlessly with Zero Trust security models, which are increasingly becoming a priority for public sector organizations. By reducing the operational burden associated with certificate and key lifecycle management, CORE helps agencies streamline compliance, governance, and system-wide security operations.
From smart city deployments to defense logistics and critical infrastructure monitoring, the platform supports a wide range of applications that rely on secure, scalable connectivity. As a result, agencies can enhance both resilience and operational efficiency without compromising security.
Echoing this vision, “We are pleased to partner with Iothic to bring its innovative decentralized authentication platform to the Public Sector,” said Michael Shrader, Vice President of Intelligence and Innovative Solutions at Carahsoft. “As Government agencies continue to modernize their cybersecurity strategies and advance Zero Trust initiatives, they need solutions that reduce complexity while strengthening protection across increasingly distributed environments. By making Iothic’s CORE (dOISP) platform available through Carahsoft’s reseller partners and contract vehicles, we are helping agencies more easily adopt a modern approach to authentication that reduces credential-based risk and supports the secure operation of critical systems and infrastructure.”
Overall, this partnership underscores a significant shift toward decentralized security models, positioning government agencies to better defend against emerging cyber threats while embracing future-ready authentication technologies.
