SwiftConnect has announced that JLL has standardized on its connected access network platform to roll out mobile wallet-based building access across its corporate offices and managed properties. The deployment enables employees and building occupants to replace traditional physical access badges with secure mobile credentials stored in NFC-enabled digital wallets. The initiative follows a successful pilot at JLL’s headquarters at 20 Water Street in London, where the platform addressed longstanding challenges related to fragmented access control systems and integration with landlord-managed infrastructure in multi-tenant buildings.

By leveraging SwiftConnect’s platform alongside HID technologies, including HID Signo readers and HID Seos, JLL has unified multiple access systems into a single digital credential. This allows users to seamlessly access both base building entry points and internal office spaces using a smartphone or wearable device.

The rollout has now expanded to JLL’s new flagship UK headquarters and is being positioned as a model for global deployment. The platform enables a single digital pass experience often referred to as “Street-to-Seat” access across multiple locations and systems.

Daniel Correa noted that traditional access control systems have struggled to keep pace with modern workplace demands, particularly in environments requiring flexible, on-demand access across multiple properties. He added that JLL’s earlier investment in SwiftConnect was driven by the need to bridge the gap between physical security and digital identity management.

The implementation delivers several operational benefits, including automated badge provisioning, reduced administrative overhead, and faster onboarding for employees. It also centralizes access management across JLL’s global footprint, improving efficiency while enhancing the experience for tenants and visitors.

Chip Kruger said the adoption by JLL reflects growing demand for unified, infrastructure-agnostic access solutions, particularly across the UK and European markets. He emphasized that the platform is designed to integrate seamlessly with existing security systems, enabling organizations to modernize access without requiring a complete infrastructure overhaul With this deployment, JLL is advancing its digital transformation strategy in workplace access, leveraging mobile-first technologies to streamline operations and deliver a more seamless, secure experience across its global real estate portfolio.
