As enterprises grapple with increasingly complex cloud environments, the need for automated and intelligent security solutions is becoming a defining priority for the cybertech ecosystem. Copperhelm has emerged from stealth with $7 million in seed funding, introducing what it describes as the industry’s first agentic cloud security platform. The funding round was led by TLV Partners, with participation from toDay Ventures, ICON, and SaaS Ventures Israel. The Copperhelm funding will support product development, engineering expansion, and go to market efforts as the company scales its presence globally.

Founded by Shimon Tolts, Eyar Zilberman, and Roman Labunsky, Copperhelm aims to address a persistent challenge in enterprise cloud security. Despite advances in artificial intelligence across industries, cloud security operations have largely remained manual due to the fragmented and complex nature of modern cloud infrastructure. Traditional tools often lack the context needed to analyze risk effectively across multiple environments, limiting the ability of AI systems to deliver reliable outcomes.

Copperhelm’s platform introduces a new model for cloud defense by deploying AI agents that continuously monitor environments, investigate threats, and execute real time remediation. These agents operate as an extension of security teams, enabling organizations to reduce manual workloads while maintaining oversight and control. The approach reflects a broader shift toward agent driven automation, where AI systems handle repetitive and data intensive tasks, allowing human teams to focus on strategic decision making.

At the core of the platform is Copperhelm’s Context Lake, a real time decision layer designed to unify and structure cloud data across environments. This enables AI agents to access the context required to identify genuine threats and take meaningful action. Unlike general purpose AI tools, the platform is purpose built for cloud environments, supporting operations across hundreds of accounts and delivering high confidence remediation capabilities.

The company reports early traction with paying customers, including Fortune 500 enterprises. In one case, Copperhelm’s technology helped reduce six million raw security findings into a few hundred validated risks, enabling faster and more effective remediation. This demonstrates the platform’s ability to prioritize actionable threats while minimizing operational overhead for security teams.

Shimon Tolts highlighted the gap the company is addressing, stating, “Engineering teams got AI years ago; security was left behind doing manual work. Copperhelm finally brings true AI to cloud security. It’s like instantly adding twenty senior engineers to your team.” His comments underscore the growing demand for automation in security operations.

Rona Segev, Co Founder and Managing Partner at TLV Partners, added, “Applying AI to cloud security requires deep architectural expertise, not just generic models with integrations. Shimon, Eyar, and Roman are true cloud veterans and the right team to bring autonomous AI into this space and shape the future of cloud defense.”

The Copperhelm funding marks a significant step in the evolution of cloud security, highlighting the increasing role of agentic AI in addressing large scale infrastructure risks. As organizations continue to expand their cloud footprints, platforms that combine automation, context awareness, and real time response will be critical to securing modern digital environments.
