As identity becomes the frontline of modern cybersecurity, the Acsense Identity Assurance launch aims to give enterprises continuous visibility into IAM configurations and faster audit readiness.
Acsense announced the general availability of Identity Assurance, a new capability designed to continuously validate identity and access management configurations, detect drift within minutes, and map changes directly to major regulatory frameworks. The release reflects growing industry concern over identity risks, particularly as AI driven systems accelerate the pace of change across enterprise environments.
The launch comes amid increasing warnings from organizations such as Cloud Security Alliance, SANS Institute, and OWASP, which highlight identity and privilege abuse as critical threats in AI driven ecosystems. As autonomous systems reduce time to exploit from weeks to hours, identity misconfigurations are becoming a primary attack vector.
Acsense’s Identity Assurance addresses this challenge by continuously monitoring IAM environments and detecting unauthorized changes in ten minutes or less. The system tracks configuration drift across identity providers such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID, covering human users, service accounts, and non human identities including AI agents.
“Identity teams have become the first responders for everything from ransomware containment to AI agent governance, but the tools they rely on still behave like static policy stores,” said Muli Motola, Co-founder and CEO of Acsense. “When a misconfiguration, insider action, or compromised service principal changes the state of Okta or Entra ID, enterprises need to know in minutes, not quarters, and they need to prove to auditors that nothing slipped through. That is what Identity Assurance delivers.”
The platform introduces continuous compliance validation aligned with standards such as SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST SP 800-53, NIS2 Directive, and DORA. By mapping live configurations directly to these frameworks, the solution replaces manual audit processes with automated, real time evidence generation.
A key feature is its ability to track non human identities, which now significantly outnumber human users in many organizations. Identity Assurance captures all configuration changes triggered by AI agents, service principals, and API tokens, providing a comprehensive audit trail that supports both security investigations and regulatory reporting.
The solution also unifies identity management across multiple providers, enabling organizations to maintain a single compliance baseline in environments that often rely on fragmented tools. This integrated approach is designed to reduce operational complexity while improving visibility and control.
The Acsense Identity Assurance launch highlights a broader shift in cybersecurity strategy, where identity is increasingly central to both defense and compliance. As enterprises adopt AI and automation at scale, the ability to monitor and validate identity configurations in real time will be critical to preventing breaches and maintaining regulatory alignment.
