Atos, a global leader in AI-accelerated digital transformation, announced the inauguration of a new Modern Security Operations Center (MSOC) in Seville on October 31 at a ceremony presided over by Jorge Paradela, Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines of the regional government of Andalusia in Spain.
The Andalusian Minister of Industry, Energy and Mines and President of the Andalusian Digital Agency (ADA), Jorge Paradela , stressed that ” the future of cybersecurity in Andalusia lies in the consolidation of an ecosystem that combines the institutional strength of the Andalusian Digital Agency, the technical excellence of our professionals and the innovation of the private sector.”
Jorge Paradela thanked Atos for its commitment to Andalusia, describing it as “a step forward in consolidating the Andalusian region as a national and international benchmark in digital protection, innovation, and public-private collaboration, strengthening our collective capabilities, encouraging local talent, and multiplying opportunities for innovation.” He added that this approach aligns with Andalusia’s cybersecurity strategy.

Atos’ new MSOC offers advanced services in monitoring, analysis, incident response, and technology infrastructure management. In operation for several months and running 24/7/365, the MSOC addresses the increasing complexity of threats and technological challenges.
A strategic center serving leading clients
Atos’ MSOC is a strategic operations center that provides managed detection and response (MDR) and security services at scale as part of Atos’ global SOC network. This MSOC is the 18th in the network. This opening demonstrates Atos’ commitment to digital security, innovation, operational excellence, and its investment in the Iberian Peninsula.
A new cybersecurity environment
As part of its continuous evolution strategy, MSOC is developing a new cybersecurity ecosystem designed to improve prediction, detection and response capabilities against advanced threats.

In this context, the Seville center will rely on:
- threat analysis and management through an intelligence sharing platform (the Atos Threat Intelligence Sharing Platform);
- centrally managed and optimized detection, threat hunting, and automation manuals;
- an AI-powered virtual SOC (Virtual SOC Analyst).
