RapidSOS has introduced its HARMONY AI platform on AT&T ESInet , marking a major advancement in next-generation emergency response systems. The move brings purpose-built public safety AI directly into one of the most widely deployed NG911 infrastructures in the United States.

The integration eliminates a long-standing challenge for emergency communication centers. Until now, agencies using private ESInet networks had to choose between maintaining a secure 911 environment or accessing real-time intelligence from connected devices via the public internet. With HARMONY AI now embedded within AT&T ESInet™, both capabilities are delivered simultaneously through a secure, private network.

This enables dispatchers to receive critical data—including device signals, vehicle telematics, video feeds, and medical information—alongside incoming emergency calls without requiring new infrastructure or exposing systems to public internet risks.

AT&T ESInet™ supports emergency services for more than 88 million people, providing IP-based call routing, improved accuracy, and increased reliability. The addition of HARMONY AI enhances these capabilities by delivering real-time, AI-driven insights directly into dispatcher workflows.

The benefits of this integration were highlighted during Hurricane Helene in North Carolina, where AT&T ESInet™ successfully rerouted 911 calls when local centers were disrupted. Building on that experience, the state is now expanding RapidSOS’ real-time interoperability to ensure that critical context and intelligence follow calls across jurisdictions.

By combining AT&T ESInet™ with FirstNet  connectivity and HARMONY AI intelligence, the new framework creates a more resilient emergency response system. Even during outages or disasters, calls, connectivity, and situational awareness remain intact.

RapidSOS stated that HARMONY AI is specifically designed for public safety, enabling dispatchers to access unified insights from voice, text, video, and sensor data in real time. The company’s broader Safety Network connects thousands of agencies and enterprises, drawing on data from millions of devices worldwide.

With this rollout, both RapidSOS and AT&T aim to strengthen emergency response capabilities, helping first responders act faster and make more informed decisions when it matters most.
