Adaptive Security has announced the relocation of its New York headquarters to a larger office space at 120 Broadway in Manhattan’s Financial District, signaling rapid growth following a major funding round and rising demand for AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. The move marks a shift from the Flatiron neighborhood to a landmark downtown tower, as the company expands its footprint to support scaling operations and hiring.

The relocation reflects a broader trend of AI-focused startups seeking ready-to-occupy office spaces in prime business districts. Backed by major technology players including Nvidia and OpenAI, Adaptive Security is positioning itself among the fastest-growing firms in New York’s competitive AI ecosystem.

The company has secured space on the 12th floor of 120 Broadway through a sublease agreement originally held by BarkBox. The deal covers a significant portion of the building’s office capacity and reflects Adaptive’s transition from smaller office setups to a full-floor presence. Real estate firms Savills and CBRE facilitated the transaction, representing the tenant and landlord, respectively.

Founded in 2024 by Andrew Jones and Brian Long, Adaptive Security focuses on protecting enterprises from AI-powered cyber threats, including deepfakes and highly targeted phishing attacks. The company reports raising over $145 million from leading investors, underscoring strong market confidence in its approach to combating next-generation cyber risks.

The move follows a Series B funding round completed in late 2025, which has accelerated the company’s expansion strategy. With increasing demand for solutions addressing AI-enabled fraud and social engineering attacks, Adaptive is scaling both its workforce and operational capabilities.

Industry experts note that the Manhattan office market remains highly competitive, particularly for well-funded AI and technology companies seeking modern, move-in-ready spaces. Zev Holzman of Savills highlighted that securing large, high-quality office space in the current environment requires strategic positioning and deep market insight, especially as demand intensifies in Lower Manhattan.

Located in the historic Equitable Building, 120 Broadway is owned by Silverstein Properties and offers proximity to major transit networks and business infrastructure. The building has become increasingly attractive to growth-stage technology firms looking for scalable office environments within established commercial hubs.

Adaptive Security’s expansion also reflects a larger shift in how AI startups approach physical office space. Rather than operating from smaller satellite offices, many are now moving into larger, amenity-rich environments that support collaboration, engineering growth, and enterprise operations.

With active hiring initiatives and continued product development underway, Adaptive is expected to leverage its new headquarters to further strengthen its position in the AI cybersecurity market. The relocation underscores both the company’s growth trajectory and the increasing importance of AI-driven defense solutions in today’s evolving threat landscape.
