Safe Pro Group Inc. has announced the commercial rollout of NODE-X, a next-generation miniaturized AI-powered edge compute processor designed to analyze drone imagery for real-time threat detection in military maneuver support missions. The system is engineered to operate entirely offline, enabling rapid identification of landmines, unexploded ordnance, and other battlefield hazards without relying on network connectivity.

The launch marks a significant step forward in deploying AI-driven solutions at the tactical edge, where speed, accuracy, and autonomy are critical. By processing data directly on-device, NODE-X eliminates latency and enhances operational reliability in high-risk and communication-constrained environments, making it particularly suited for modern battlefield conditions.

At the core of NODE-X is Safe Pro Group’s patented SPOTD (Safe Pro Object Threat Detection) technology, which has been trained on an extensive dataset of 2.6 million drone images and 47,000 verified threat detections collected from real-world scenarios in Ukraine. This robust training foundation enables the platform to deliver precise threat identification and actionable intelligence in dynamic operational settings.

The system transforms raw drone footage into detailed geospatial models, supporting mission planning and improving situational awareness for military, security, and humanitarian applications. In addition to real-time AI inference, NODE-X provides advanced capabilities such as 3D terrain mapping and automated route guidance, helping operators navigate complex and potentially hazardous environments more effectively.

Designed for field deployment, NODE-X is delivered as a portable, backpack-based kit compatible with Army-approved short-range reconnaissance drones. This mobility ensures that personnel can deploy the system quickly in diverse operational scenarios without requiring extensive infrastructure or setup.

Safe Pro Group Inc. confirmed that NODE-X is scheduled to participate in additional U.S. Army exercises through the second quarter of 2026. These evaluations are expected to further validate the platform’s performance and accelerate its path toward broader adoption across defense operations.

The rollout follows a recent government contract secured by Safe Pro Group Inc., reinforcing its position in the rapidly growing market for AI-enabled defense technologies. As demand for autonomous threat detection and edge computing capabilities increases, the company is preparing to scale production to meet requirements across multiple sectors.

Beyond military use, the NODE-X platform is designed to serve a wide range of applications, including government, law enforcement, commercial, and humanitarian missions. Its ability to detect threats and generate actionable insights in real time positions it as a versatile solution for organizations operating in high-risk or disaster-affected environments.

With the introduction of NODE-X, Safe Pro Group Inc. is advancing the role of AI at the edge, delivering a powerful tool that enhances safety, operational efficiency, and decision-making in some of the most challenging conditions.
