CyberTech Insights provides a platform for industry authorities to share their perspectives on the fast-evolving world of cybersecurity, AI-driven defense, cloud security, compliance, threat intelligence, and digital risk management.

Guest expert contributions help spark conversations, highlight best practices, and provide practical value to our professional readership.

Interested contributors may submit questions, abstracts, outlines, or completed drafts to the editorial team for review.

Benefits of Contributing

  • Prominent article placement on the CyberTech Insights homepage.

  • Feature promotion in the CyberTech Insights email newsletter.

  • Extended reach via our LinkedIn and other social media channels.

  • Cross-network amplification through partner sites and affiliated newsletters when appropriate.

  • Thought leadership positioning in front of CISOs, security leaders, IT strategists, and technology decision-makers.

Who Can Contribute

We welcome submissions from:

  • Subject matter experts (SMEs) in cybersecurity, cloud security, threat detection, zero trust, AI in security, and compliance.

  • Analysts, consultants, and leaders from cybersecurity research/advisory firms.

  • Executives from associations, think tanks, and academic institutions specializing in digital risk, data privacy, and cybersecurity innovation.

Restrictions:

  • We cannot accept articles from vendors, suppliers, technology partners, or outsourcing firms that are written primarily to promote products or services.

  • Authors must not hold roles in marketing, sales, business development, or PR when submitting as experts. Their role should be technical, strategic, or thought leadership–oriented.

Author Bio Requirements

  • A short author bio (50–100 words) and professional headshot must accompany each submission.

  • Bios should avoid promotional language (e.g., “leading provider of…”).

  • Contact details may be included if the author wishes to be reached directly.

Content Guidelines

Articles must be:

  • Original and exclusive to CyberTech Insights (and its network). Content previously published elsewhere will not be considered.

  • Non-promotional. Articles should not market a company, product, or service, either directly or indirectly.

  • Actionable and insightful. Each article should provide recommendations, frameworks, or best practices, not just high-level commentary.

Preferred Topics & Angles:

  • Deep dives into emerging trends in cybersecurity, AI security tools, zero trust, cloud security, and data privacy regulations.

  • Analysis of hot topics creating excitement, concern, or confusion in the market (e.g., generative AI in cyber defense, ransomware trends, hybrid work vulnerabilities, regulatory shifts).

  • Early signals of emerging attack vectors or technologies that CISOs should start preparing for.

  • Actionable strategies for addressing common challenges in cybersecurity adoption and risk mitigation.

  • Best practices drawn from case studies or field experience, with a balance of opinion and fact-based analysis.

Voice & Style:

  • Use active voice (e.g., “Organizations should implement zero trust…” rather than “Zero trust should be implemented…”).
  • Written in American English. We do not provide translation services.
  • Conversational yet authoritative tone, professional, but not overly academic or jargon-heavy.

Use of Artificial Intelligence in Writing

We recognize that authors may use generative AI tools in research or drafting. If AI is used:

  • All data, statistics, and references must be verified for accuracy.

  • The final article must reflect the author’s original insights, expertise, and perspective.

  • Authors take full responsibility for the content submitted.

Length & Structure

  • Word Count: 1,000–2,000 words (excluding title, references, and bio). Longer submissions may be developed into a multi-part series.

  • Introductions: No more than 2–3 paragraphs. Quickly set context and move into insights.

  • Headings/Subheadings: Required for readability.

  • Headline: Clear, engaging, ideally under 8 words / 50 characters.

  • References: Use either superscript numbers with a references list or hyperlink directly within the text (preferred).

Formatting & Submission

  • Submit articles in editable Microsoft Word format, American English.
  • Define acronyms and abbreviations upon first use.
  • Include charts, graphics, or figures where relevant.

Image Guidelines:

  • Images must be high-resolution (JPEG, PNG, or GIF).
  • Authors are responsible for obtaining copyright permissions.
  • Company logos and promotional imagery are not accepted.
  • Captions should accompany all images.

Editorial Process

  • All articles will be reviewed and edited for clarity, grammar, readability, and style.
  • The editorial team reserves the right to accept or reject any submission.
  • Authors are responsible for the accuracy of their statements.

Deadlines & Workflow

  • CyberTech Insights works on a rolling submission schedule.
  • Deadlines can be set in agreement with the editorial team.
  • Submissions may be sent as abstracts, outlines, or completed drafts.
