As cyber threats continue to escalate, organizations of all sizes face heightened risks from breaches, ransomware attacks, and compromises of sensitive information. Mid-market companies are particularly vulnerable, often handling sensitive data such as Personally Identifiable Information (PII), Protected Health Information (PHI), Payment Card Industry (PCI) data, and Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI), as well as data from partners and industry collaborators. Many of these organizations, however, lack the budget or technical resources to maintain comprehensive cybersecurity protections.

Key Features of the Asset Inventory Module

The new module enhances Pondurance’s MDR platform by providing complete visibility into an organization’s IT environment, emphasizing the risk, exposure, and vulnerabilities associated with each asset.

The module integrates data from a variety of sources, including supported Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) tools such as CrowdStrike and SentinelOne, client-provided lists or databases, and information gathered via Pondurance’s Exposure & Vulnerability Management Program (eVMP). Importantly, this is achieved without requiring additional agents, specialized monitoring software, or hardware deployment.

Each asset is evaluated and assigned a risk score that aligns with NIST and ISO frameworks, ensuring organizations can prioritize remediation efforts effectively. The module also allows for continuous updating and importing of asset information, maintaining up-to-date visibility into the cybersecurity posture of all IT assets.

By combining comprehensive asset inventory tracking with risk-based insights, Pondurance’s new module enables mid-market organizations to identify and address vulnerabilities more efficiently, reducing exposure to potential cyber threats.
