Ridge Security, leader in AI-powered offensive security for Continuous Threat Exposure Management (CTEM), announced RidgeGen, a comprehensive Agentic AI framework designed to take security validation from automation to autonomy. Powered by RidgeGen, Ridge Security’s flagship product, RidgeBot, delivers intelligent, context-aware offensive security validation across the IT, OT, and AI infrastructure.
With RidgeGen, RidgeBot combines the contextual intelligence of LLMs with its proven domain-specific knowledge to tackle more complex exploit testing and generate more accurate testing results. RidgeBot goes beyond website testing to cover IT infrastructure including hosts, networks, applications, APIs, and LLMs. The platform is considered the most comprehensive offensive security framework ever developed for public launch and commercial use.

“RidgeBot powered by RidgeGen helps our customers maintain a more confident and secure posture against breaches and ransomware attacks by reducing both false positives and false negatives in security,” said Lydia Zhang, President and co-Founder, Ridge Security. “It allows security teams to expand security testing beyond 1-day exploits to uncover Zero Day vulnerabilities specific to their environment.”
The RidgeGen framework was previewed at a private event in San Jose on September 25, which revealed and demonstrated how the framework’s new architecture operates as a multi-agent ecosystem that easily enables collaborative reconnaissance, coordinated exploit chaining and dynamic threat modeling. Advanced threats, Such as JWT confusion attacks, which have impacted thousands of enterprises in past breaches, were also showcased.
At the preview in San Jose, Ridge Security shared the results of the recent DEFCON 2025 Benchmark Bakeoff, where Ridge Security’s RidgeBot achieved 88% benchmark completion – surpassing other leading web security testing tools, which scored 38% and 82% – while generating zero false positives and sharply reducing false negatives.

“Cybersecurity lives in a dynamic environment and if you do not improve you will be left behind,” said Charles Kolodgy, principal at Security Mindsets. “Ridge Security is providing the innovation that allows security teams to stay ahead of AI-powered threat actors. RidgeGen seamlessly integrates specially trained AI into RidgeBot to improve precision discovery and protection capabilities without creating ghost alerts (false positives and negatives). Improving automation capabilities associated with CTEM allows human experts to concentrate on the most important events.”
Earlier this year, Ridge Security announced RidgeBot 5.2, which featured an earlier version of RidgeGen, to provide an advanced security service module powered by a specifically trained Generative AI (GenAI) small language model. RidgeGen significantly enhances the efficiency and accuracy of security testing, meeting the growing demands of the CTEM market.
