As cyber threats accelerate in speed and complexity, security teams are struggling to move beyond reactive alert handling toward proactive defense. Mallory has introduced a new solution designed to address this gap with the launch of its AI native threat intelligence platform.
The Mallory AI threat intelligence platform is built to help CISOs and security teams answer critical questions about real world risk, including which threats are actively exploitable, how attackers operate, and what actions should be prioritized. By shifting the focus from alerts to actionable insights, the platform aims to redefine how organizations approach threat intelligence and exposure management.
Modern security operations centers are overwhelmed by high volumes of alerts from multiple tools and data sources. While visibility has improved, teams often struggle to determine which threats are relevant to their specific environment. Mallory addresses this challenge by monitoring thousands of global threat sources and contextualizing that data against an organization’s actual attack surface.
Instead of simply flagging vulnerabilities, the platform analyzes who is exploiting them, where attacks are occurring, and how they are being executed. It then determines whether the organization is truly at risk and provides clear recommendations on what to fix. This enables security teams to prioritize remediation efforts based on real world impact rather than theoretical risk.
“Attackers are AI-enabled now, moving faster and with more capability. Defenders need to be too. Security teams don’t need more alerts. They need answers: what can attackers do, are our controls stopping them, and what’s exploitable right now,” said Jonathan Cran, founder and CEO of Mallory.
The platform integrates with existing security tools and workflows, allowing organizations to enhance their current infrastructure rather than replace it. It supports a range of use cases including threat hunting, detection, and exposure management, delivering prioritized, evidence based cases that are ready for immediate action.
Industry practitioners highlight the importance of speed and context in modern cybersecurity operations. “When a new alert makes the news, I need to know within minutes if we are impacted. Mallory delivers the context needed to investigate at AI speed,” said John Sapp.
Mallory has also secured seed funding led by Decibel Partners, with participation from Live Oak Venture Partners and industry leaders from organizations including Google, Robinhood, Cisco, Fastly, and GreyNoise. The investment underscores growing confidence in AI driven approaches to threat intelligence.
Dan Nguyen Huu, partner at Decibel Partners, emphasized the shift in the cybersecurity landscape. “Threat intelligence was built for an era where we would be able to process information at human speed. With the introduction of agents on the adversarial side, we no longer have data intel problem but rather a context and reasoning problem. Jonathan and the Mallory team are changing that by connecting real-time threat activity to an organization’s environment and processing it for relevance at agentic speed,” he said.
The Mallory AI threat intelligence platform reflects a broader industry transition toward intelligent, context driven security operations. As attackers increasingly leverage AI, platforms that can deliver real time, actionable insights will be essential for organizations seeking to stay ahead of evolving threats and reduce their exposure effectively.
