Babel Street, a global leader in mission-grade risk intelligence, announced the appointment of Rob Lalumondier as its new Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In this capacity, Lalumondier will be responsible for steering the company’s worldwide revenue strategy, leading sales and channel development, and advancing customer growth as Babel Street strengthens its presence across government, national security, and commercial sectors.

Lalumondier brings more than two decades of leadership experience in cybersecurity and public sector engagement. He joins Babel Street from Sophos, where he served as Vice President overseeing the company’s enterprise and public sector business in North America. During his tenure, he drove key growth initiatives and enhanced relationships with federal and large enterprise clients.v

Before his role at Sophos, Lalumondier held several senior positions at McAfee, including Executive Director for Federal Civilian and Director of National Security & Intelligence. In those roles, he led initiatives that expanded the adoption of advanced cybersecurity and threat intelligence solutions across critical U.S. government operations. Earlier in his career, he served as Director of Defense and Intelligence at Intel Corporation and gained hands-on operational experience at STS International, Inc.

A former U.S. Army Captain, Lalumondier graduated from the United States Military Academy at West Point with a Bachelor of Science in Systems Engineering. He also holds an MBA in Finance and Strategy from Cornell University’s Johnson Graduate School of Management.
