Syniverse has declare the promotion of Justin Dellaportas to Executive VP and CIS and DSO, further solidifying the company’s focus on cybersecurity and digital innovation.
In this expanded role, Dellaportas will oversee Syniverse’s newly created Information Security and Digital Services group, which consolidates enterprise security, IT project management, business operating systems, workplace technology, and user experience functions. The unified structure underscores the company’s strategy to deliver secure, efficient, and connected digital capabilities at scale.

Previously serving as Executive Vice President and Chief Information Security Officer, Dellaportas will now guide broader initiatives to advance Syniverse’s digital workplace modernization and ensure security remains a cornerstone of its global offerings.

He executed a long-term strategy that integrated security into all operations, built a high-performing technical team, enhanced compliance frameworks, and improved risk management and incident response.

Recognized on the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s ‘40 Under 40’ list in 2023, Dellaportas previously held cybersecurity leadership positions at Nielsen and engineering roles at Lockheed Martin. He holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering from the University of Central Florida, along with certifications including GIAC Security Essentials and Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
