REI Systems, a leader in delivering innovative and reliable technology solutions to the federal government for over 35 years, has passed its Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2 Third Party Organization (C3PAO) Assessment. This is the first step in achieving CMMC C3PAO certification, which would allow REI to conduct CMMC Level 2 assessments for over 80,000 Defense Industrial Base (DIB) organizations seeking certification.
The CMMC program, established by the Department of Defense, is designed to enforce the protection of sensitive, unclassified information that is shared by the Department with its contractors and subcontractors. It provides increased assurance that the industry is meeting the cybersecurity requirements that apply to acquisition programs and systems that process Controlled Unclassified Information.
