New executives bring deep experience in cybersecurity, IT strategy and product innovation.

Netwrix announced four executive appointments to its technology leadership team. Their collective experience will fuel product innovation, strengthen enterprise security, and drive the company’s continued growth.  

Paul Stephens joins Netwrix as Chief Technology Officer (CTO), bringing deep experience in building scalable, cloud-native SaaS platforms. Paul has held senior leadership roles at Symantec, Veritas, ServiceNow, and most recently, Splunk, where he drove modernization and product innovation across large engineering teams. As CTO, Paul will oversee Netwrix’s global R&D organization and lead the vision and development of Netwrix 1Secure, a SaaS platform unifying data and identity security.

Shawn Valle joins Netwrix as Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and will be responsible for the security of both Netwrix’s enterprise operations and its product portfolio. Shawn brings extensive experience leading security organizations at leading technology companies, including Salesforce, Rapid7, and Tricentis. He will play a critical role in ensuring the company’s infrastructure, customer data, and cloud solutions remain secure and compliant.

Michael Wetzel joins Netwrix as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Previously, he held senior IT leadership roles at The Hershey Company, where he led initiatives to modernize infrastructure, improve team collaboration, and implement AI-driven tools to enhance productivity, all while aligning security with business outcomes.  At Netwrix, Mike will define and execute the company’s IT strategy, with a focus on enabling AI innovation and global operational efficiency.

Jeff Warren, a long-time product and engineering leader at Netwrix, has been promoted to Chief Product Officer (CPO).
