Exabeam, a global leader in security intelligence and automation, and Cribl, the data engine for IT and security, have announced an enhanced strategic partnership aimed at eliminating the long-standing trade-off between visibility and cost in security operations. Building on their collaboration launched in 2023, the companies are integrating the Exabeam New-Scale Security Operations Platform with Cribl Stream to help organizations ingest the right data, cut long-term storage costs, and maintain the ability to search historical data on demand.

Central to this joint solution are Exabeam Outcomes Navigator and the Exabeam Nova Advisor Agent. These tools identify the most impactful data sources for security outcomes, which Cribl then routes into the Exabeam platform. There, the data is transformed into AI-driven detections and detailed threat timelines that accelerate investigations. This ensures every log ingested supports business-critical use cases and MITRE ATT&CK® coverage, while lower-value logs can be redirected to more cost-efficient storage without losing search or replay capabilities.

Unlike conventional SIEM tools, Exabeam provides behavioral context that helps uncover advanced threats, including insider risks, that often go unnoticed. By combining Exabeam’s threat detection, investigation, and response (TDIR) capabilities with Cribl’s flexible data pipeline management, security teams gain greater efficiency and improved outcomes.

“One of the unique advantages of the New-Scale Platform is the AI we deliver, powered by the data we ingest,” said Steve Wilson, Chief AI and Product Officer at Exabeam. “Through our partnership with Cribl, we’re helping customers achieve two critical objectives: capturing the right data to support security outcomes while maintaining cost control. This collaboration gives security teams the clarity, control, and confidence they need to detect threats faster and stay ahead of adversaries.”

Key Advantages of the Partnership

  • Targeted Data Ingestion: Focuses on high-fidelity data that supports critical security use cases.
  • Accelerated Adoption: Simplifies transition to the New-Scale Platform by minimizing downtime and migration challenges.
  • Flexible Routing: Moves data seamlessly between security tools without requiring new agents or infrastructure.
  • Optimized Storage: Supports customer-owned or cloud-based storage solutions, lowering costs while retaining compliance and searchability.
  • Historical Search & Replay: Enables forensic investigations and compliance audits across archived data at a fraction of traditional SIEM costs.
  • Data Filtering: Reduces noise and low-value logs to improve SIEM performance and free analyst resources.

“Effective threat detection and response starts with clean, AI-ready data,” said Vlad Melnik, Vice President, Global Alliances at Cribl. “By combining Cribl’s data routing and shaping with Exabeam’s behavioral analytics and automation, we’re empowering organizations to optimize SIEM data ingestion, strengthen defenses, and embrace a more sustainable approach to cyber resilience.”

The enhanced Exabeam–Cribl integration provides enterprises with a smarter and more efficient path to scalable, AI-powered security operations.
