Guidepost Solutions, a global leader in compliance, investigations, and security consulting, has announced a significant expansion of its Privacy practice through a series of strategic leadership appointments.

Allison Spagnolo, currently serving as Chief Privacy Officer and Senior Managing Director, will now also hold the title of Deputy General Counsel. In parallel, Matthew A. Corwin has been named Deputy Chief Privacy Officer and Managing Director, and Dr. Bridget Bratt has joined the organization as a Managing Director.

Spagnolo, a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP), oversees Guidepost Solutions’ global privacy compliance initiatives, including adherence to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). She also leads the firm’s Privacy and Artificial Intelligence (AI) practices, advising clients on data protection, privacy risk, and AI governance. In her expanded capacity, she will offer legal guidance and oversight across the firm’s various practice areas and international operations. Spagnolo has been with Guidepost Solutions since 2014.

Corwin, who holds certifications as a CISSP, CISA, and CDPSE, brings over two decades of experience in privacy, cybersecurity, and IT risk management. His work has been instrumental in designing and implementing enterprise privacy programs and security frameworks for global organizations. In his new dual role, Corwin will also help advance the firm’s internal privacy initiatives. He joined Guidepost Solutions in 2023.

Dr. Bratt joins the company with more than 25 years of expertise in privacy, data governance, and regulatory compliance spanning the healthcare, finance, supply chain, and consulting sectors. Before joining Guidepost Solutions, she served as Director of Data Protection and Privacy at a global consulting firm, advising clients on key regulations such as GLBA, HIPAA, and Regulation S-P.

Her career includes leadership roles such as Head of Data Protection at Optiv, where she developed comprehensive privacy programs; establishing global data governance strategies at DHL Logistics; and overseeing data governance and corporate data strategy at Humana Inc. Earlier, she led a national children’s hospital’s first enterprise data governance initiative and served as a Senior Compliance Officer at JPMorgan Chase.

Dr. Bratt holds a Doctor of Business Administration, MBA, and Bachelor of Science from Franklin University, where she continues to contribute as an adjunct professor.

These leadership changes reinforce Guidepost Solutions’ continued investment in building a forward-looking privacy and AI governance framework designed to meet the complex needs of today’s regulatory and technological landscape.
