Cloudcomputing has acquired UK-based Innovate IT Ltd in a strategic move aimed at accelerating its international growth and strengthening its capabilities in the digital identity and cybersecurity space. With this acquisition, the company is positioning itself to meet the rising global demand for identity and access management solutions, particularly as cyber threats intensify and AI adoption continues to expand.
As part of the deal, Cloudcomputing expects a significant boost in its 2026 growth trajectory. Moreover, the acquisition is set to increase its delivery capacity in key markets such as the UK and the United States by 400%. This expansion comes at a time when organizations are increasingly prioritizing identity security to safeguard complex digital environments.
Innovate IT brings over 20 years of expertise in identity and access management, as well as cloud security. In addition, the company has established a strong footprint in the UK while also maintaining operations in the US. Therefore, this acquisition not only enhances Cloudcomputing’s technical capabilities but also strengthens its geographic presence in two critical markets.
At the same time, Cloudcomputing has already demonstrated strong global reach. The company reported €7 million in revenue in 2025 and has successfully delivered more than 600 projects worldwide. Furthermore, it operates across 70 countries, with a direct presence in Portugal, Spain, and the UK, making it well-positioned to scale its services internationally.
“This acquisition strengthens our capabilities across the full identity value chain, from strategy through to managed services, while reinforcing our approach to identity governance in AI-driven environments, particularly Agentic AI,” said Ricardo Martins, CEO of Cloudcomputing.
“For clients, this means a more integrated and robust offering. For us, it significantly enhances our ability to deliver complex, multinational projects while maintaining a focus on control, security and operational efficiency.”
In addition to expanding technical expertise, the acquisition also broadens Cloudcomputing’s industry reach. Previously focused on sectors such as financial services, telecommunications, insurance, logistics, legal, education, and healthcare, the company will now extend its services into sports, entertainment and media, the public sector, and retail. Consequently, this diversification opens new revenue streams and strengthens its competitive position.
Martins further emphasized that the deal reinforces the company’s presence in the UK, where it has been operating directly since 2024. He described the acquisition as “an important milestone” in Cloudcomputing’s long-term international expansion strategy.
Furthermore, this transaction aligns with the company’s broader growth approach, which combines organic development with strategic acquisitions. By doing so, Cloudcomputing aims to scale its operations globally while deepening its expertise in critical areas such as cybersecurity and digital identity management.
Notably, Cloudcomputing is part of the Allurity Group, a European cybersecurity platform with approximately 800 employees across 18 countries. The group focuses on delivering comprehensive security services, including threat intelligence, detection, and 24/7 response capabilities.
Overall, the acquisition of Innovate IT marks a significant step forward for Cloudcomputing as it strengthens its global footprint, enhances service capabilities, and prepares to address the evolving challenges of identity security in an AI-driven world.
