Terra Security, a pioneer in Agentic Offensive Security, has announced the appointment of Anna Sarnek as Vice President of Business & Strategy. The move marks a significant step in the company’s growth journey as it continues expanding its presence in the rapidly evolving AI-native cybersecurity market. Sarnek has already played a key role in shaping Terra’s strategic direction over the past year while serving as a strategic advisor, contributing to the company’s growth strategy and its collaboration with Amazon Web Services (AWS).

With more than 15 years of experience across cybersecurity, enterprise IT, and cloud partnerships, Sarnek brings deep industry expertise to the role. Most recently, she led Cyber Startup and Venture Capital Business Development at AWS, where she worked closely with cybersecurity investors and founders. In that position, she helped early-stage and growth-stage startups build strong foundations for scaling their businesses. Consequently, Sarnek developed a strong understanding of the cybersecurity ecosystem, including the relationships between startups, investors, and enterprise customers.

Her experience will allow her to bridge the gap between Terra and its key stakeholders, ensuring that the company’s strategic initiatives align with evolving industry needs and market trends. By combining her knowledge of cloud partnerships with Terra’s innovative approach to AI-powered security, the company aims to accelerate product development and expand its strategic partnerships across the cybersecurity landscape.

“Anna has been instrumental in building Terra behind the scenes since last May,” said Shahar Peled, cofounder and CEO of Terra Security. “She brings a deep understanding of our product, customers, and partners, which will help her scale the company thoughtfully and strategically. More importantly, she shares our conviction that AI-native security represents an entirely new category, one where Terra is uniquely positioned to lead.”

As Vice President of Business & Strategy, Sarnek will focus on strengthening Terra’s growth initiatives while helping drive product innovation and industry collaboration. In addition, she will work to expand Terra’s partner ecosystem by engaging technology companies, channel partners, managed security service providers (MSSPs), and consulting firms. Through these efforts, Terra aims to build a more cohesive go-to-market strategy that aligns product development, partner feedback, and long-term business goals.

Sarnek also brings extensive consulting and strategic business development experience, which will help orchestrate collaboration across Terra’s internal teams and external partners. This alignment is expected to ensure that the company’s platform strategy and market expansion efforts progress in a coordinated and sustainable manner.

“Channel partnerships used to be deeply strategic, but the explosion of vendors has pushed many relationships toward more transactional motions,” said Anna Sarnek, VP of Business & Strategy at Terra Security. “We need to return to the kind of strategic alignment that originally made the channel so effective, building best-of-breed solutions and cohesive platform narratives alongside our partners rather than operating in silos. It’s also time to challenge the conventional startup playbook that delays hyperscaler and channel investment. Strong partnerships compound over time, and if you wait until later funding stages, you forfeit that advantage. Terra is already seeing the benefits of starting early.”

Terra’s strategy reflects a broader belief that modern cybersecurity outcomes require alignment between people, processes, and technology. By investing early in ecosystem relationships including hyperscalers, consulting firms, and red teaming specialists the company aims to build comprehensive security solutions that resonate with CISOs, executive leaders, and frontline security professionals.

“Terra represents a category with materially different value,” Sarnek added. “We see a clear path to building a company that defines Agentic Offensive Security.”

Looking ahead, Terra Security intends to continue strengthening its partnerships and advancing its AI-driven security platform. With Sarnek now leading business strategy and partnership development, the company is positioning itself to further shape the emerging category of Agentic Offensive Security while delivering innovative solutions to organizations facing increasingly complex cyber threats.
