As enterprises accelerate AI adoption, data privacy and compliance challenges are emerging as major barriers to production deployment. Protecto latest move aims to address this gap by embedding security directly into AI workflows rather than treating it as an external control layer.

Protecto has announced that its AI Context Security platform, Protecto Vault, is now available on Google Cloud Marketplace, enabling organizations to deploy AI applications within Google Cloud while enforcing data privacy policies in real time. The launch comes as many enterprises struggle to operationalize AI due to concerns around handling sensitive data such as financial records, personal identifiers, and healthcare information.

Protecto AI Context Security is designed to solve a fundamental issue in modern AI systems. Unlike traditional applications, AI models process both structured and unstructured data, often combining multiple data sources to generate outputs. This creates a risk where sensitive information may be unintentionally exposed. Protecto addresses this by embedding data classification and context preserving tokenization directly into the AI reasoning layer, ensuring that security controls operate within the flow of AI decision making.

The platform maintains semantic integrity while applying policy aligned protections, allowing organizations to secure data without sacrificing model performance. This approach enables compliant AI deployments while preserving the accuracy and usefulness of AI generated outputs.

Protecto Vault operates entirely within a customer’s Google Cloud environment, eliminating the need for external data movement. This design simplifies security approvals and ensures compliance with data residency requirements. Additionally, enterprises can procure the solution using their existing Google Cloud commitments, streamlining adoption.

In one real world deployment, an enterprise automation platform was unable to activate AI capabilities due to constraints around sensitive data handling. After integrating Protecto Vault, the organization successfully scaled its AI offerings to more than 5,000 enterprise customers, turning a compliance challenge into a competitive advantage.

“AI has created a new reasoning layer inside the enterprise. Security controls that stop at the application boundary are no longer sufficient. AI systems continuously assemble context, and policy enforcement must move into that reasoning layer. Protecto provides that control infrastructure. Availability on Google Cloud Marketplace makes it operationally simple for enterprises to secure AI systems directly within their existing Google Cloud environments.” said Amar Kanagaraj, Founder and CEO of Protecto.

“Bringing Protecto to Google Cloud Marketplace will help customers quickly deploy, manage, and grow the company’s AI context security platform on Google Cloud’s trusted, global infrastructure,” said Dai Vu, Managing Director, Marketplace and ISV GTM Programs at Google Cloud. “Protecto can now securely scale and support enterprises that want to use Protecto Vault to help enforce data privacy policy directly inside AI workflows.”

The introduction of Protecto AI Context Security on Google Cloud Marketplace highlights a broader industry shift toward integrating security directly into AI systems. As organizations move from experimentation to production, solutions that embed privacy controls within AI reasoning processes will be critical to unlocking scalable and compliant AI adoption.
