In 2022, 524 workers died from gun-related incidents, reports the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics. Once again, on top of the most crucial human element to be considered, there are wider business implications: lost customers, property damage and reputation, higher insurance costs, and staff retention issues. Gun-related violence comes at an extreme price: from $229 billion to $557 billion annually.
Once ordered, customers will be shipped the hardware needed with installation instructions and videos detailing the installation process. ZeroEyes will check each deployment for proper setup and functionality.
If ZEO detects a gun, it instantly dispatches images to the ZeroEyes Operations Center, which is the only fully in-house operation center and is based in the United States. It is operational 24/7/365 and manned by highly trained veterans of both the military and law enforcement. After verification, ZOC experts dispatch alerts and actionable intelligence—informed visual description, type of gun, and the last known location—to law enforcement locals and one specified customer contact within 3-5 seconds of detection.
“At the ZeroEyes Research Center, we learned that gun violence is uncontainable and can happen anywhere at any time,” said Mike Lahiff, CEO and co-founder of ZeroEyes. “With ZEO, we’re now democratizing security for smaller organizations and even for home use—tapping into that very same deep technology developed to protect K-12 schools, colleges, hospitals, military bases, and large enterprises across this nation.”
