The Detroit North Data Center spans 76,000 square feet, with 4 MW of instantly available power capacity slightly able to accommodate 8 MW. It is well-prepared for major expansions: over 5 MW of the critical IT load, 24/7 staff on-site, and multi-layer security to deliver the redundancy and reliability of a tier III.

It is designed to address the facility’s growing demand for AI and other high-power applications. It covers 17,000 square feet of raised floors with expandability features. Additionally, SSAE 18-audited, HIPAA-compliant, and PCI-certified secure hosting ensure the greatest level of protection for hosted data.

The company plans on increasing its regional workforce

by adding office space and new employees to keep up with changing customer demands. They are also going to enhance their Detroit North Data Center with an added 6-mile fiber build to encircle that facility, giving it more connectivity and making sure data exchanges at higher speeds are easily possible.

An open house will be held later this autumn, upon completion of the facility’s renovations. The number of US Signal’s current customers who have committed to leasing space inside the new Detroit North Data Center strongly demonstrates the need for such quality digital infrastructure services in the market.

John White said, “Building on our success with the Indianapolis North Data Center, the Detroit North facility is poised to become a pivotal hub for network connectivity and digital infrastructure services.
