Wiz, SailPoint, Vanta, Varonis, and other security companies use Sweep’s agentic layer to manage complex Salesforce environments.

Enterprise systems are becoming increasingly complex for cybersecurity companies, especially when it comes to managing long-standing CRM platforms. Sweep, an agentic layer designed for enterprise systems, has announced that several leading cybersecurity and identity companies including SailPoint, Varonis, Vanta, and Wiz—have adopted its platform to improve AI documentation, impact analysis, and audit readiness within their Salesforce environments.

The adoption reflects a growing challenge across the cybersecurity sector. Many security vendors rely on Salesforce systems that have evolved over 15 to 20 years. Over time, these environments have accumulated layers of automation, complex data models, custom workflows, and undocumented dependencies. While these systems support business growth, they can also create serious governance and compliance hurdles—particularly for companies expanding globally, preparing for IPOs, or introducing AI-driven tools into their operations.

For cybersecurity companies, maintaining strong compliance standards is critical. Organizations in the industry must meet strict audit and regulatory requirements, including frameworks such as SOC, SOX, HIPAA, and new cybersecurity disclosure expectations set by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Without clear visibility into how internal systems operate, meeting these compliance standards can become significantly more difficult.

According to Josie Smets, Head of Revenue CRM at SailPoint, Sweep provided a level of visibility that their team had previously struggled to achieve. SailPoint’s Salesforce environment, which has developed over nearly two decades, contains deeply interconnected automation and dependencies. With Sweep’s technology, the company was able to quickly assess how changes might impact other parts of the system. What once took around 30 minutes to analyze can now be completed in just two minutes, enabling teams to implement structural improvements without worrying about hidden downstream risks.

The impact of this visibility has been significant. SailPoint reports that the platform has helped reclaim more than 750 hours of Salesforce capacity each year. It also supported the company during a major architectural modernization initiative linked to an ERP rollout and IPO-level compliance preparation, helping ensure updates were completed without costly post-deployment fixes.

Sweep’s leadership believes this shift reflects how cybersecurity companies naturally approach risk management. CEO and co-founder Ido Gaver explained that organizations in the cybersecurity sector carefully evaluate risk in every part of their operations, including internal systems such as CRM platforms. By providing deeper insight into Salesforce configurations, Sweep enables teams to confidently make system changes while remaining audit-ready and maintaining full control over their infrastructure.

The platform works by indexing and mapping Salesforce metadata, automation logic, permissions, and dependencies into a unified system model. This allows teams to conduct real-time impact analysis, automatically generate AI-driven documentation, and maintain clear visibility across their CRM environment an increasingly important capability for security-focused enterprises.

Sweep has also recently introduced a new feature called Multi-Org Mode for Salesforce. The capability is designed to help large enterprises manage multiple Salesforce environments across different regions, business units, and acquired companies. In the coming weeks, the company plans to extend its visibility capabilities beyond CRM by adding support for platforms such as Snowflake and ServiceNow, enabling organizations to monitor and manage complex enterprise systems from a single operational view.

As cybersecurity companies continue to scale and adopt AI technologies, tools that bring clarity and control to complex enterprise systems are becoming increasingly essential. Sweep’s growing adoption across the security industry highlights the rising importance of system visibility, compliance readiness, and risk-aware modernization.
