Cynet has announced new capabilities for its CyAI engine, designed to continuously improve threat detection and response by combining automated analysis with insights from its 24/7 security team, CyOps. The update introduces a feedback-driven model where CyAI learns from real-world telemetry and human-led investigations, enabling the platform to refine detection accuracy, reduce false positives, and better identify emerging threats. The enhancements reflect a broader shift in cybersecurity, where speed and adaptability are becoming critical as attackers increasingly leverage AI.

Yaniv Shechtman said the company is focused on closing the gap between human expertise and AI-driven systems. He noted that CyAI creates a continuous learning loop in which analyst insights directly enhance automated detection and response capabilities, improving performance over time.

The upgraded system incorporates multiple new features. CyOps Recommendations allow analysts to validate and enrich AI-generated alerts, with updates automatically fed back into the platform to improve future threat detection. A new GenAI-powered console provides detailed explanations of alerts along with suggested remediation playbooks, helping organizations respond more effectively to incidents.

Cynet has also introduced an AI-powered support agent embedded within its platform. This chatbot enables users to query alerts in natural language and receive structured guidance based on historical investigations and real-time intelligence.

Ronen Ahdut explained that CyAI processes large volumes of threat data at scale, but its effectiveness is significantly enhanced when combined with expert analysis. He emphasized that the system evolves not only through data collection but also through the interpretation and decision-making of experienced security professionals.

The announcement comes as the cybersecurity landscape faces increasing pressure from AI-driven attacks, which are significantly reducing the time between vulnerability discovery and exploitation. Cynet’s approach focuses on behavior-based detection, allowing threats to be identified even before they are linked to known vulnerabilities.

The latest enhancements build on existing CyAI capabilities, including automated threat remediation, attack path correlation, and advanced payload analysis. According to the company, the platform can now automatically remediate the majority of threats while maintaining a very low false-positive rate With these updates, Cynet aims to strengthen its position in AI-driven cybersecurity by delivering a system that continuously adapts to evolving threats through the combined intelligence of machines and human analysts.
