AI MINDSystems Foundation is a nonprofit organization focused on leveraging exponential technologies for the health and well-being of humanity. Hassan Tetteh, MD, MBA, has joined this organization as the Chief Veterans Health Officer. Under the guidance of Dr. Tetteh, this foundation initiated a National HERO—Health Enhancing Resource Orchestration—for improving the critical unmet needs of US military service members, veterans, first responders, and their families.

It will explore and pilot new models of healthcare and social services delivery, as well as decentralized clinical research. Through the provision of end-to-end data and AI infrastructures under the control of individuals, National HERO envisions dramatic improvements to personalization, efficiency, and privacy. Seamless access to care, support, and resources, which are tailored to each person’s and family’s special needs by various organizations and sectors, will thus be made possible.

Dr. Tetteh, a retired U.S. Navy Captain with 25 years of military service, cardiothoracic surgeon, clinical informaticist, and author of Smarter Healthcare with AI: Harnessing Military Medicine to Revolutionize Healthcare for Everyone, Everywhere, Forbes Books, November 14, 2024. Dr. Tetteh brings together distinguished work as the Chief Veterans Health Officer and Co-Founder of AI MINDSystems Foundation, building on experiences as the first Warfighter Health Mission Chief at the Department of Defense’s Joint Artificial Intelligence Center.
A critical element of the National HERO initiative is the launch and scaling of the first WISDOM Networks ™ — a breakthrough utility for trusted data and AI designed for interoperability, sustainability, and economic inclusion. Organized through new forms of public-private partnership, WISDOM Networks stand for “Worldwide Informatics System and Data Ontology Matrix,” both technological innovation and the ethical use of AI.
