Before this promotion, Douglas served as Mimecast’s Senior Vice President of the Americas and brings over 25 years of experience leading and scaling high-performing teams within the cybersecurity and technology sectors. He previously held senior leadership positions at Cloudera, Momentive AI, and Oracle, where he managed enterprise sales teams across North America and Europe for a decade. His extensive background in driving customer-focused growth and operational excellence positions him as a key driver of Mimecast’s ongoing expansion.
Originally from Scotland, Douglas earned degrees from the University of Strathclyde and RMIT University. Bringing a global outlook and deep expertise in cybersecurity and SaaS, he strengthens Mimecast’s executive leadership as the company continues to solidify its position as a pioneer in human risk security. Douglas currently resides near Boston, Massachusetts.
