Armis Federal, the specialized unit of Armis supporting United States federal entities government agencies, announced the addition of two seasoned federal cybersecurity leadersPaul Craft and David Epperson—to its Federal Advisory Board. The Board, comprised of former senior government executives, provides strategic direction on addressing the evolving cybersecurity needs of federal organizations.

Craft, a retired U.S. Army General Officer, served as the Army’s longest-tenured Chief of Cyber. His career includes leadership roles at the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command (USCYBERCOM), and other defense organizations.

Epperson, who became the first Chief Information Officer (CIO) of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), also created the agency’s first Senior Executive Service Chief Information Security Officer role. His career includes influential positions within the White House and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

“As cybersecurity threats grow more complex, collaboration between the public and private sectors is essential,” said Epperson. “I am eager to work with my fellow Advisory Board members to help enhance the resilience of federal systems.”

The appointments reflect Armis Federal’s continued investment in serving U.S. government customers. Earlier this year, the company launched Armis Federal to provide tailored solutions for federal agencies and Tribal Nations. It is also nearing completion of DISA Impact Level 5 and FedRAMP High authorizations. Additionally, through its partnership with ECS, Armis Federal supports the DHS Continuous Diagnostics and Mitigation (CDM) Data Services program.
