TraceX Labs, a fast-growing cybersecurity startup founded by Santhosh Kumar and Kiran Singh, has officially launched its cybersecurity services in Nigeria. This strategic move aims to strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure while enhancing resilience against increasingly sophisticated cyber threats.
To begin with, the company is targeting enterprises, government bodies, and multinational organizations across Nigeria. It plans to help these entities tackle rising cyber risks such as phishing attacks, malware infections, data breaches, and digital fraud. As a result, organizations can proactively safeguard their digital assets while ensuring business continuity.
Moreover, TraceX Labs leverages advanced AI-powered security platforms that enable real-time threat detection and mitigation. As Nigeria’s digital economy continues to expand and cloud adoption accelerates, the need for intelligent cybersecurity solutions has become more critical than ever. Consequently, TraceX Labs aims to bridge this gap with innovative technologies.
One of its flagship solutions, TraceX Guard, plays a crucial role in this initiative. This Android-based application actively detects malicious apps, suspicious links, QR code scams, spyware, and ransomware threats. Additionally, it uses artificial intelligence combined with behavioral threat analysis to identify unusual activities and alert users before any potential damage occurs.
In addition to consumer-focused tools, the company will deliver a wide range of enterprise cybersecurity services. These include threat intelligence, penetration testing, vulnerability assessments, dark web monitoring, and cybersecurity research. By offering these services, TraceX Labs empowers organizations to identify vulnerabilities early and strengthen their overall cyber defense strategies.
Furthermore, the company introduces advanced technologies such as URL monitoring systems that detect phishing attempts and malicious links. It also offers deepfake detection capabilities designed to identify AI-generated images, audio, and video. These solutions are expected to play a vital role in maintaining digital trust and preventing misinformation in the evolving threat landscape.
Speaking on the expansion, the company stated, “Nigeria represents a key market in Africa’s rapidly expanding digital landscape, and securing its cyber infrastructure is essential for economic growth and national security.”
Notably, TraceX Labs has already made significant contributions to global cybersecurity research. Recently, its founder Santhosh Kumar discovered a critical Remote Code Execution (RCE) vulnerability in an IBM product. The vulnerability was responsibly disclosed and later acknowledged by the IBM Product Security Incident Response Team.
Looking ahead, the company plans to offer 24/7 Security Operations Center (SOC) monitoring, incident response services, and customized threat intelligence feeds. These capabilities will ensure continuous protection for clients across various industries.
As cyber threats continue to evolve across sectors such as finance, healthcare, and technology, TraceX Labs is positioning itself as a key player in securing Nigeria’s digital ecosystem while enabling organizations to operate safely and resiliently.
