T. Y. McGill is stepping beyond the football field to champion digital safety, announcing a new partnership with Cyber Safely AI aimed at protecting families and children in today’s increasingly connected world. The initiative highlights a growing effort to address rising online threats such as cyberbullying, harmful content, and digital exploitation.
Driven by a strong sense of community, McGill has already taken action in his hometown by providing more than 1,200 free Cyber Safely memberships to families. This effort ensures that parents and guardians gain access to real-time, AI-powered tools designed to monitor online activity and help safeguard children from emerging digital risks.
“As a father and someone who grew up in Jesup, this is personal,” said McGill. “Technology is a big part of our lives, but it also comes with risks. Partnering with Cyber Safely allows me to give families the tools they need to feel secure and protected every day.”
Cyber Safely AI’s platform focuses on proactive protection, offering continuous monitoring, intelligent alerts, and insights that empower parents with greater visibility and control over their children’s digital interactions. The solution is designed not only to prevent threats but also to encourage safer online behavior and awareness among young users.
Expanding his mission further, McGill is also launching a new podcast titled “The Parents Playbook,” where he will engage with fellow athletes, mental health professionals, and industry experts. The podcast aims to address parenting in the digital age, mental wellness, and practical strategies for navigating technology-driven challenges.
“This partnership with T.Y. McGill is exactly what our mission is about bringing real protection to real families,” said Neal Alexander, Founder of Cyber Safely AI. “By starting in Jesup and expanding outward, we’re creating a blueprint for how communities across the country can prioritize digital safety.”
Ultimately, this collaboration reflects a broader trend of public figures leveraging their influence to drive meaningful change beyond their primary careers. By focusing on digital safety and community empowerment, McGill’s initiative sets the stage for a wider national effort to equip families with the tools they need to stay secure in an evolving cyber landscape.
