Semperis has revealed the keynote lineup for its upcoming Hybrid Identity Protection Conference (HIP Conf) 2026, bringing together some of the most influential voices in cybersecurity to address the growing challenges of securing hybrid identity environments.

The event, scheduled for September 8–10 in Nashville, will feature keynote sessions from Tim Brown and Stuart McClure—two leaders with deep experience in defending against advanced cyber threats and shaping the future of security.

Tim Brown, widely recognized for his role as CISO during the SolarWinds cyberattack, is expected to share firsthand insights from one of the most high-profile cybersecurity incidents in recent history. His session will focus not only on technical defense strategies but also on the human side of cybersecurity, including the pressure, scrutiny, and resilience required to navigate large-scale attacks.

Joining him is Stuart McClure, founder of Cylance, who has long been a pioneer in applying artificial intelligence to cybersecurity. McClure is set to explore how AI is reshaping threat detection and response, and how it can help reduce the operational burden on security teams while improving overall defense capabilities.

The HIP Conference has established itself as a leading platform dedicated specifically to hybrid identity security—a growing concern as organizations increasingly operate across on-premises and cloud environments. Identity systems have become a primary target for attackers, making their protection a critical priority for modern enterprises.

In addition to the keynote speakers, the conference will feature sessions from industry experts, government representatives, and academic leaders. Notably, Alex Weinert, currently Chief Product Officer at Semperis and former VP of Identity at Microsoft, will return to the stage, continuing his role as a key voice in identity security.

The event aims to provide both strategic insights and practical guidance, helping organizations strengthen their defenses against evolving identity-based threats. Topics are expected to range from identity attack detection and response to the role of AI and automation in securing complex environments.

As cyberattacks become more sophisticated and identity systems remain a central target, HIP Conf 2026 is positioned to play a crucial role in shaping how organizations approach identity protection in the years ahead.
