Rubrik  has announced a series of new innovations across its Rubrik Security Cloud platform and partner ecosystem, aimed at helping Managed Service Providers (MSPs) scale cyber resilience services more efficiently and profitably.

The company introduced updated MSP-specific program tiers, a consumption-based PayGo pricing model, and a new “Rubrik Verified™” designation that recognizes partners with proven operational maturity. These enhancements are designed to simplify service delivery, improve economics, and enable MSPs to meet rising enterprise demand for data protection and cyber recovery solutions.

The announcement comes at a time when the global MSP market for data protection and cyber recovery is expected to reach $258 billion by 2027, driven by increasing cyber threats, regulatory pressures, and a shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals. As a result, many organizations are relying more heavily on MSPs to deliver specialized expertise and maintain resilient infrastructure.

Rubrik’s latest updates aim to position MSPs at the center of this shift. The new PayGo model eliminates upfront financial barriers, allowing partners to adopt a flexible, consumption-based approach and scale services as demand grows. At the same time, the introduction of structured partner tiers aligns incentives with performance and commitment levels, creating a more standardized framework for growth.

To strengthen incident response capabilities, Rubrik is also offering 24/7 support through its Ransomware Response Team, enabling faster recovery during cyber incidents. Additionally, the Rubrik Verified™ designation is intended to reduce friction in enterprise buying decisions by providing clear validation of an MSP’s operational readiness and expertise.

The platform enhancements also include support for hybrid tenancy models through a centralized MSP Console, giving providers unified visibility and governance across environments.

“Cyber resilience has shifted from a model of transactional participation to continuous execution,” said Alok Agrawal, Chief Solutions Officer at Rubrik. “Enterprises are dealing with talent shortages, regulatory complexity, and hybrid environments, which puts MSPs in a critical position to deliver scalable resilience.”

Industry leaders echoed the importance of operational readiness and rapid response in today’s threat landscape. Executives from Assured Data Protection, Harbor Solutions, and Rackspace emphasized that real cyber resilience is measured by the ability to recover quickly and consistently under pressure, particularly during ransomware events where delays can significantly impact business continuity.

The shift toward service-based models is also gaining validation from industry analysts. According to Gartner, organizations are increasingly moving away from capital-intensive infrastructure toward scalable, consumption-based services that enable centralized management and cost efficiency.

Rubrik’s new MSP capabilities are available immediately, while the Rubrik Verified designation is expected to launch in Summer 2026.
