Remote has strategically acquired Bravas to strengthen its platform by integrating identity and device management capabilities. This move not only enhances Remote’s existing offerings but also reflects a broader industry trend toward unified workforce management solutions.

Founded in 2021 by François-Xavier Signori, Yoann Gini, and Olivier Gaudéchoux, Bravas has built a strong reputation in managing employee identities and devices—an area that often requires companies with global teams to juggle multiple tools and vendors. However, with this acquisition, Remote aims to eliminate such fragmentation and provide a more streamlined experience.

Moreover, this marks Remote’s third acquisition in the workforce management space, following Easop and Atlas. While Easop focuses on equity incentive management and Atlas specializes in global spend management, Bravas now adds a crucial layer—identity and device control. As a result, Remote continues to evolve into a comprehensive, all-in-one platform covering the entire employee lifecycle.

In addition, Remote emphasized that the growing reliance on automation and AI-driven workflows has made identity management more complex and essential. Consequently, integrating Bravas’ open-standard technology will help organizations manage access controls more efficiently across evolving digital ecosystems.

Speaking about the acquisition, Job van der Voort, co-founder and chief executive officer of Remote stated:

“Global teams are becoming the default, not the exception, and the tools supporting them have to keep pace. The team at Bravas has built device and identity technology that meets the demands of international teams today while also being ready for what comes next,” he said.

“Our vision has always been that Remote is the single system that makes global teams work. Bravas brings us closer to that.”

Similarly, François-Xavier Signori, chief executive officer of Bravas highlighted Bravas’ commitment to high-security environments:
“We built Bravas for the companies operating at the frontier of global work, where the stakes around device security, identity, access, and compliance are highest,” he said.

“Remote has built that same rigor into its global employment infrastructure, and together we can keep raising the bar for what global teams can expect from their platforms.”

From a customer perspective, this acquisition offers significant benefits. Businesses will now be able to manage hiring, payroll, compliance, identity access, and device administration within a single ecosystem. Furthermore, Bravas customers can expect accelerated product innovation backed by Remote’s global infrastructure.

Importantly, this deal highlights the increasing convergence of HR systems, IT administration, and cybersecurity. As distributed workforces expand, companies must handle onboarding processes that include contracts, payroll, access permissions, and device management across multiple jurisdictions. Therefore, consolidating these functions into one platform is becoming a critical priority.

Ultimately, this acquisition positions Remote at the forefront of integrated workforce solutions, reinforcing its mission to simplify global employment while enhancing security and operational efficiency.
