NSS Labs, a globally recognized authority in independent cybersecurity product validation, has announced the appointment of Dominick Delfino as Executive Advisor. The move comes as the company strengthens its focus on advancing testing capabilities for the rapidly evolving landscape of AI-driven cybersecurity.
Delfino brings more than 25 years of leadership experience across some of the world’s most influential technology companies, including Google Cloud, Nutanix, Pure Storage, VMware, and Cisco. His appointment arrives at a critical time for enterprises, as increasingly sophisticated and automated cyber threats are driving the need for reliable, real-world validation of security solutions.
Most recently, Delfino served as Global Vice President of Cybersecurity Sales at Google Cloud, where he was responsible for leading the global go-to-market strategy for the company’s security portfolio, including the integration of Mandiant. Over the course of his career, he has also held key executive roles such as Chief Revenue Officer at Nutanix and Pure Storage, where he played a significant role in scaling global operations and driving business growth.
Vikram Phatak, CEO of NSS Labs, highlighted Delfino’s deep expertise in both cloud and cybersecurity domains, noting that his experience in building and scaling global organizations will be instrumental as NSS Labs continues to expand its enterprise programs. He emphasized that Delfino’s understanding of customer needs and evolving security challenges aligns closely with the company’s mission to deliver trusted, independent validation.
Delfino expressed enthusiasm about joining NSS Labs, stating that throughout his career he has seen how difficult it can be for organizations to distinguish between marketing claims and actual security performance. He underscored NSS Labs’ long-standing reputation for transparency and data-driven insights, and his commitment to helping organizations access reliable validation of their security controls.
In his role as Executive Advisor, Delfino will focus on accelerating the company’s global sales strategy, strengthening strategic partnerships, and ensuring that NSS Labs’ roadmap aligns with the fast-changing demands of AI in cybersecurity. His appointment reflects the company’s broader ambition to support enterprises with trusted, real-world testing as they navigate increasingly complex threat environments.
