Dragos, Inc., the global leader in cybersecurity for operational technology (OT) environments, has announced the appointment of Dawn Mitchell as its new Chief People Officer. In this role, Mitchell will lead Dragos’s People organization and work closely with teams across the business to strengthen organizational capabilities as global demand for OT cybersecurity continues to rise.

Mitchell brings more than fifteen years of experience leading people and talent strategy for cybersecurity and enterprise software organizations navigating rapid growth and transformation. Throughout her career, she has built people functions from the ground up, guided companies through major scaling initiatives, and partnered closely with executive leadership to ensure workforce strategy supports long-term business goals. Moreover, she has consistently worked across departments to embed people programs into operational plans, strengthening both performance and culture.

Prior to that, she spent several years at Appian, where she advanced from Director of Talent Acquisition to Senior Vice President of Human Resources, helping guide the company through its evolution into a publicly traded enterprise software provider. Earlier in her career, Mitchell also held senior talent and people leadership roles at Opower and Red Hat, further strengthening her background in building scalable, high-performing teams.
