As cyber threats continue to evolve alongside rapid AI adoption, organizations are rethinking how they procure and consume cybersecurity solutions. In response to this shift, CrowdStrike has introduced Flex for Services along with the Zero Dollar Flex Fund, extending its Falcon Flex licensing model to expert-led security services.

With this move, CrowdStrike is enabling organizations to access a wide range of security services ranging from AI advisory to incident response on demand. Rather than relying on rigid service contracts, enterprises can now leverage a flexible, outcome-driven model powered by the Falcon platform. As a result, businesses can better align their security investments with real-time risks and operational needs.

“When a model works, the market follows. Falcon Flex is the blueprint for how modern organizations procure cybersecurity and how vendors now go to market,” said Tom Etheridge, chief global services officer at CrowdStrike. “Flex for Services extends that model to security services, shifting the consumption model from hours to outcomes. It brings Falcon into more environments and opens new opportunities for our service partners. Innovation doesn’t stop at technology.”

Redefining Cybersecurity Procurement

Notably, the rise of agentic AI, autonomous tools, and increasingly complex attack surfaces is reshaping enterprise security strategies. Consequently, organizations are shifting away from traditional product-based procurement toward more dynamic, risk-based planning models.

In this context, Falcon Flex has emerged as a preferred subscription model, particularly in the agentic era. With a reported $1.69 billion in ending ARR cohort value in Q4 FY26 growing over 120% year-over-year the model reflects strong market adoption and demand for flexible cybersecurity consumption.

Enabling Flexible Service Consumption

Furthermore, Flex for Services addresses key limitations in traditional service delivery models. Instead of fixed engagements, organizations can now access a flexible pool of service hours that can be used as needed. This includes capabilities such as threat hunting, red teaming, readiness assessments, AI advisory services, and incident response.

Importantly, this model operates independently from Falcon platform subscriptions, giving enterprises greater control over how and when they consume services. As threats evolve and priorities shift, organizations can dynamically allocate resources to areas of highest risk, improving both efficiency and responsiveness.

Lowering Barriers with Zero Dollar Flex Fund

In addition, CrowdStrike is introducing the Zero Dollar Flex Fund to make its services more accessible. For a limited time, eligible customers can access 200 hours of CrowdStrike Services without any upfront cost. This includes 160 hours dedicated to incident response and 40 hours for proactive services.

By eliminating initial financial barriers, CrowdStrike is enabling organizations to immediately engage with its security expertise. At the same time, this approach creates a scalable pathway for broader adoption of the Falcon platform, allowing businesses to expand their cybersecurity capabilities over time.

Driving Growth Across the Partner Ecosystem

Equally important, Flex for Services is designed to support CrowdStrike’s global partner ecosystem. System integrators, managed service providers, and incident response partners can now extend this flexible consumption model to their own customers.

As a result, partners can better align their services with customer demand, scale delivery more efficiently, and drive sustainable growth. This collaborative approach not only enhances service delivery but also strengthens the overall cybersecurity ecosystem.

“CrowdStrike’s technology and cyber expertise are core to the services we deliver to keep our customers safe,” said Robb Mayeski, global head of CrowdStrike Services at Kroll. “Flex for Services unlocks greater value for our customers, giving them the flexibility to consume the expert services they need as their risk profiles change, while enabling us to scale our business. This isn’t competition, it’s collaboration.”

Supporting the Future of Cybersecurity

Ultimately, CrowdStrike’s latest announcement highlights a broader transformation in cybersecurity from static service models to flexible, outcome-driven approaches. By extending its Falcon Flex model to services and introducing zero-cost entry options, the company is empowering organizations to stay agile, resilient, and better prepared for the rapidly evolving threat landscape.
