Three New Product Categories Extend Beyond Firearms to Address Additional Acute Safety Threats and Basic Security Needs
ZeroEyes has announced a major expansion of its AI-powered security platform, moving beyond firearm detection to deliver a more comprehensive and intelligent approach to safety. The update introduces new capabilities such as knife detection, real-time threat geolocation, and broader analytics, marking a significant step toward unifying threat detection with day-to-day security operations.
This evolution reflects ZeroEyes’ ambition to become a single, trusted platform for organizations seeking to secure, detect, and respond to a wide range of critical incidents. While the platform continues to build on its proven computer vision technology – already deployed across thousands of facilities – it now integrates preparedness, operational awareness, and investigative insights into a unified system.
A key highlight of the expansion is the introduction of multiple product lines designed to cover the full spectrum of security needs. The “Secure” offering includes expert site assessments, detailed mapping, and solutions such as ZeroLink to strengthen foundational security planning. The “Detect” layer leverages AI to identify threats such as firearms, knives, intrusions, crowd formations, and unattended objects. Meanwhile, the “Respond” component delivers real-time geolocation, drone-enabled AI capabilities, and centralized monitoring through the ZeroEyes Operations Center.
The newly introduced knife detection capability addresses growing concerns around blade-related incidents, identifying weapons of six inches or greater that are commonly associated with violent activity. This enhancement responds to increasing demand from organizations seeking broader threat coverage beyond firearms.
Another critical addition is real-time threat geolocation, which enables security teams to track individuals of interest across multiple camera feeds using non-biometric visual characteristics. This capability provides a clear timeline of movement within a facility, allowing faster and more coordinated response once a threat is identified.
ZeroEyes has also expanded its general analytics suite to include detection of intruders – ranging from individuals and vehicles to drones and boats – as well as crowd monitoring, abandoned object detection, and camera obstruction alerts. In addition, the platform now offers real-time camera health monitoring, ensuring continuous system reliability and visibility.
