Genspark.ai has announced a global strategic partnership with Microsoft to integrate its AI agents directly into the Microsoft ecosystem. Through this collaboration, Genspark brings intelligent workflows natively into Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Word, and Microsoft Agent 365. As a result, both companies aim to deliver AI capabilities within the tools enterprises already use daily, eliminating the need for additional platforms or processes.
As enterprise AI adoption continues to accelerate worldwide, organizations increasingly face a key challenge: the friction of switching between AI tools and existing workflows. Therefore, this partnership directly addresses that gap by embedding Genspark’s AI agents into Microsoft 365 and Agent 365. Consequently, users can now access advanced AI functionalities without requiring new software, separate logins, or changes in work habits.
Notably, Genspark has introduced its AI Slides, Sheets, and Docs Agents as native plugins within Microsoft 365 applications. This integration allows users to generate presentations, analyze data, and create documents seamlessly within their existing workflows. For instance, in PowerPoint, users can create professional slides using simple prompts, leverage their own templates, and refine existing presentations with built-in AI editing and research capabilities. Similarly, in Excel, users can query their data and instantly receive insights, charts, and analysis without writing formulas. Meanwhile, in Word, users can generate well-structured documents quickly, with AI-driven editing that understands the full context of the content.
“The way people work is being fundamentally rewritten. We built Genspark around the belief that AI should operate as a true employee, one that works across your systems, your files, and your applications without being told where to go or how to start,” said Eric Jing, CEO and co-founder of Genspark. “Bringing that to Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Agent 365 means Genspark is now operating inside one of the most trusted enterprise environments in the world. That’s where the bar is for enterprise adoption, and we’re meeting it.”
Furthermore, Genspark has built its platform on Microsoft Azure, which plays a critical role in ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. By leveraging Azure’s infrastructure, the company can rapidly develop and deploy new AI capabilities while maintaining enterprise-grade standards. In addition, the partnership includes plans to expand Genspark’s presence within Agent 365 and make its solutions available through the Microsoft Marketplace, further enhancing accessibility across the ecosystem.
“Our partnership with Genspark brings enterprise-grade AI directly into the flow of work, where knowledge workers can feel its value immediately,” said Judson Althoff, CEO of Microsoft’s Commercial Business. “By combining Genspark’s agentic AI capabilities with Microsoft’s trusted platforms, we are delivering AI at scale inside the applications organizations rely on every day.”
Looking ahead, Genspark intends to deepen its integration across the Microsoft ecosystem. Specifically, the company plans to enhance its capabilities within Agent 365 and broaden its reach through the Microsoft Marketplace. Ultimately, these efforts aim to create a unified, AI-native experience that seamlessly connects tools, workflows, and enterprise environments at global scale.
