Salt Security Launches Agentic AI Security Platform

Salt Security Launches Agentic AI Security Platform

As enterprises accelerate the adoption of autonomous systems, securing the interconnected layers that power these technologies has become a growing priority. Salt Security’s latest announcement introduces a new approach to agentic AI security by focusing on the full ecosystem of interactions between models, tools, and enterprise systems.

Salt Security has launched its Agentic Security Platform, designed to protect what the company describes as the “agentic stack,” which includes large language models, MCP servers, and APIs. The platform aims to provide organizations with the visibility and control needed to safely deploy AI agents at scale.

The increasing use of AI agents across business workflows has expanded the attack surface within enterprise environments. These agents rely on multiple components to function effectively. Large language models handle reasoning and decision making, MCP servers enable execution of tasks, and APIs connect agents to enterprise systems and data. Together, these elements form a complex network of interactions that can introduce significant security risks if not properly managed.

Salt Security refers to this interconnected environment as the Agentic Security Graph, a framework that maps how AI agents interact with systems, data, and workflows. By visualizing these relationships, security teams can better understand potential vulnerabilities and enforce policies across the entire lifecycle of agent activity.

Roey Eliyahu, CEO and co founder of Salt Security, emphasized the importance of focusing on actions rather than just outputs. “Most AI security solutions focus on prompts and models,” said Roey Eliyahu, CEO and co-founder of Salt Security. “But the real enterprise risk is not just in what an agent can say. It is in what an agent can do through MCP servers and APIs. These systems connect agents to data, workflows and enterprise services. That is what we call the Agentic Security Graph, and Salt’s Agentic Security Platform is designed to expose and secure it.”

The platform introduces two core capabilities to address these challenges. Agentic Security Posture Management provides continuous discovery and governance of connections across models, agents, and APIs, helping organizations maintain visibility into their AI environments. Agentic Detection and Response focuses on identifying and mitigating suspicious or anomalous behavior in real time, enabling faster response to potential threats.

As enterprises deploy more AI agents, the number of connections between systems continues to grow, increasing both complexity and risk. The ability to monitor and secure these interactions has become essential for maintaining operational integrity and protecting sensitive data.

Early adopters are already using the platform to gain insights into their AI environments. Shawn Griffin, Chief Information Security Officer, CFIUS Security Officer and Cybersecurity Officer at Siemens, highlighted the value of enhanced visibility. “As we deploy more AI agents across our organization, the complexity of the systems they interact with has increased dramatically and is challenging to manage,” said Shawn Griffin. “Salt is uniquely positioned to secure this new environment because every agent interaction ultimately runs through APIs. The Agentic Security Platform has already given us improved visibility and protection that we need to confidently scale AI across the Siemens Software business.”

The launch of the Agentic Security Platform reflects a broader shift in cybersecurity toward securing the full lifecycle of AI systems. As organizations continue to integrate intelligent agents into core operations, solutions that provide unified visibility, governance, and real time protection will be critical to enabling safe and scalable innovation in agentic AI security.
