RSA Conference LLC (RSAC), the world’s leading platform for the global cybersecurity community and organizer of the industry’s most influential annual cybersecurity event, has announced the appointment of Jen Easterly as its new Chief Executive Officer. The leadership change comes at a defining moment, as artificial intelligence and cybersecurity increasingly converge to reshape how organizations, governments, and societies secure digital infrastructure.

In her new role, Easterly will oversee RSAC’s expanding global portfolio. This includes the flagship RSA Conference in San Francisco, growing international programs, the renowned Innovation Sandbox competition and startup ecosystem, professional membership initiatives, and a broad range of education and collaboration programs. She will also guide RSAC’s efforts around AI security, secure software development, and international cooperation—areas that are rapidly becoming central to the future of cyber defense.

“RSAC is not just a conference it’s the home of the global cybersecurity community,” said Easterly. “We’re at a pivotal moment where cybersecurity and AI have become inseparable, and the world needs a trusted platform to bring together the people, ideas, and technologies that will shape the next decade. I’m honored to lead RSAC into its next chapter expanding our international reach, strengthening our innovation ecosystem, and working with partners around the world to help build a future where technology is truly secure by design.”

Easterly brings more than three decades of leadership experience across both the public and private sectors. Most recently, she served as Director of the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), where she became a leading national and global voice on critical infrastructure protection, cyber resilience, and public-private collaboration. Before that, she held senior roles at the National Security Agency, where she helped stand up U.S. Cyber Command, and later served as a senior technology executive at Morgan Stanley. Throughout her career, Easterly has been widely recognized for championing secure-by-design principles and for advocating responsible approaches to emerging technologies, including AI.

“Jen brings unmatched leadership experience across national security, cyber operations, the private sector, and global resilience,” said Greg Clark, former CEO of Symantec, and Managing Partner at Crosspoint Capital, and RSAC board member. “At a time when AI and cybersecurity are rewriting the technological landscape, Jen is exactly the right leader to guide RSAC into a new era. RSAC is built on community, collaboration, and trust. Jen embodies those values and brings a powerful vision for strengthening and growing the global cybersecurity and AI ecosystem.”

RSAC leadership also emphasized the broader significance of Easterly’s appointment as the organization prepares for its upcoming milestone events and expanded global mission.

“As the rapid adoption of AI brings both immense opportunities and profound new risks, there has never been a more important time for the cybersecurity and AI communities to come together,” said Dr. Hugh Thompson, Executive Chairman of RSAC and longtime Program Committee Chairman of RSAC Conference. “I am thrilled to partner with Jen, the team at RSAC, and our community, as we bring the world together for our 35th annual flagship event in March. Over the years some of the most important conversations in cybersecurity have happened at RSAC and I believe our 2026 conference will be the most impactful event we’ve ever had.”

With Easterly at the helm, RSAC aims to further strengthen its role as the central convening force for the global cybersecurity ecosystem. By expanding international engagement, deepening innovation programs, and advancing dialogue at the intersection of AI and security, RSAC is positioning itself to help define how the next decade of secure technology will be built.
