Malanta, the world’s first pre-attack prevention platform, has officially emerged from stealth with $10 million in seed funding, marking a major step forward in proactive cybersecurity. The company’s mission is to help organizations stop data breaches before they begin by disrupting cyber threats that increasingly leverage artificial intelligence (AI).
The funding round was led by Cardumen Capital, with participation from The Group Ventures (TGV). Early-stage investors include Udi Mokady, Founder and Executive Chairman of CyberArk, along with Benny Schneider, Harel Prag, and Amit Greener, General Partners at RollOut Ventures.

Addressing the AI-Driven Cyber Threat Landscape
As AI becomes a double-edged sword, cyber adversaries—dubbed AI.Attackers by Malanta—are now using automation to conduct reconnaissance and exploit digital vulnerabilities in minutes instead of days. Traditional defense mechanisms struggle to keep up with such velocity.
Malanta’s platform introduces a predictive intelligence model that identifies Indicators of Pre-Attack (IoPA)—digital breadcrumbs that reveal malicious intent long before an attack unfolds. By continuously collecting and analyzing early-stage signals such as domain registrations, phishing kit development, and command-and-control server setups, Malanta enables enterprises to neutralize threats before they become active.
“Malanta was built to close a critical security gap in the AI era—the ever-shrinking window between exposure and compromise,” said Kobi Ben Naim, Co-founder and CEO of Malanta. “Many CISOs told us they’re inundated with multiple threat intel feeds but still measure success by cleanup time rather than prevention. Our goal is to change that paradigm.”
A New Layer of Pre-Attack Defense
Unlike traditional pen testing or alert-based systems, Malanta serves as a pre-attack disruption layer. Within minutes of deployment, the platform maps a company’s digital footprint and correlates it with potential adversary build-ups. Using neural exposure mapping, Malanta prioritizes imminent risks and pinpoints assets most likely to be weaponized next.

The company was founded in 2024 by seasoned cybersecurity entrepreneurs Kobi Ben Naim (CEO), Guy Ben Arie (Head of Engineering), Yossi Dantes (CPO), and Tal Kandel (CBO)—all veterans with over two decades of combined experience in cyber defense, AI engineering, and enterprise-scale product development. The team, who previously worked together at CyberArk, already holds one granted patent and has two more pending.
Real-World Validation and National Impact
Malanta’s pre-attack prevention technology is already demonstrating real-world results. In partnership with the Israel National Cyber Directorate (INCD), Malanta’s IoPA intelligence has helped uncover and dismantle adversary infrastructure targeting hundreds of Israeli organizations across multiple sectors.
“Sharing accurate and actionable information between cybersecurity entities is vital for national resilience,” said Dana Toren, Head of the CERT Division at the INCD. “When companies like Malanta collaborate and share their insights, they enhance collective defense and help close critical security gaps. This is the kind of partnership that truly changes outcomes.”

Expanding Reach and Strengthening Capabilities
Currently, Malanta is in deployment with customers spanning financial services, technology, software, and government sectors. The company’s platform is now generally available for enterprises and strategic design partners.
The new funding will accelerate engineering expansion, go-to-market efforts, and the addition of new IoPA categories and data sources. Malanta also plans to deepen integrations, allowing customers to seamlessly apply preemptive intelligence across their existing cybersecurity tools. Further, the company will extend its coverage to detect and disrupt attacker infrastructure even earlier in the setup phase.
“The only effective way to match the pace of AI-powered attackers is to anticipate and act before the attack begins,” said Gonzalo Martínez De Azagra, Founder and General Partner at Cardumen Capital. “By focusing on pre-attack prevention, Malanta has positioned itself at the forefront of AI-era cybersecurity. With the global AI and cybersecurity market expected to hit $86 billion by 2026, their approach gives enterprises a powerful head start.”
