Ivanti has announced the launch of its Ivanti Neurons for MDM Sovereign Edition EU, a cloud-based endpoint management solution designed specifically for European organizations and public sector institutions. The new offering aims to address growing regulatory and operational demands around data sovereignty, compliance, and security across the region. Purpose-built to align with strict European requirements, the Sovereign Edition enables centralized device management while ensuring adherence to legal jurisdiction, auditability, and operational control standards. The solution forms a key component of Ivanti’s broader Autonomous Endpoint Management (AEM) strategy, helping IT and security teams gain full visibility and control over increasingly complex device environments.

As digital sovereignty becomes a top priority across Europe, driven by evolving regulatory frameworks and economic considerations, organizations are under pressure to adopt solutions that provide transparency, governance, and resilience. This is particularly important in endpoint management, where mobile devices often act as entry points to sensitive corporate data and present significant compliance risks. Ivanti’s Sovereign Cloud solution is designed to meet these challenges by delivering a modern, cloud-based platform aligned with the EU Cloud Sovereignty Framework. It enables regulated organizations to securely manage endpoints while maintaining compliance with regional data protection standards.

David Shepherd, Senior Vice President of EMEA Sales at Ivanti, stated that the solution is tailored for organizations seeking to leverage cloud technologies without compromising sovereignty or regulatory compliance. He emphasized that the platform provides a secure and future-ready foundation for cloud adoption in the European market.

The offering is targeted at organizations with high compliance requirements, including public institutions, critical infrastructure operators, and industries such as finance, energy, and healthcare. These sectors often need to demonstrate verifiable sovereignty to qualify for regulatory approval and public sector contracts. Supporting the solution’s sovereignty framework, Prof. Dr. Dennis-Kenji Kipker of the Cyberintelligence Institute highlighted that true digital sovereignty depends not just on data location but also on robust legal and organizational structures. He noted that Ivanti’s model combines European-based operations, certified infrastructure, and clear separation between cloud provider roles to ensure compliance and resilience.

Key capabilities of the solution include centralized, cloud-based endpoint management across major platforms such as iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, and ChromeOS, along with automation, policy enforcement, and application management. The platform is operated by sector27, an independent European IT provider, ensuring compliance with stringent security standards through BSI-certified infrastructure.

The solution also meets multiple international and European compliance benchmarks, including SOC 2 Type II and CSA STAR certifications, while aligning with BSI IT-Grundschutz standards. It incorporates role-based access controls, full monitoring, and traceability features to enhance security and accountability.

Jens Tintrup, CEO of sector27, emphasized that the partnership delivers a comprehensive and regionally compliant endpoint management solution, particularly important given the growing role of mobile devices in accessing sensitive enterprise data. Now available across Europe, Ivanti’s Sovereign Cloud MDM solution enables organizations to adopt modern endpoint management while maintaining strict compliance, sovereignty, and operational resilience in an increasingly regulated digital landscape.
