authID has announced a strategic partnership with Formula5, a Microsoft-focused consultancy known for its expertise in identity, security, cloud, data, and AI. Under the agreement, Formula5 will act as both a reseller and implementation partner, helping broaden enterprise adoption of authID’s biometric identity verification and authentication platform. The collaboration aims to enhance identity assurance across key enterprise workflows, including remote onboarding, call center operations, help desk interactions, and ongoing authentication processes. The joint solution is designed to support Zero Trust security models within Microsoft-based environments.

As organizations increasingly adopt distributed work models and cloud-first identity systems, traditional authentication methods such as passwords, SMS-based verification, and knowledge-based questions are proving vulnerable to phishing, social engineering, and account takeover attacks. The partnership addresses these challenges by introducing biometric verification as a more secure and user-friendly alternative.

Formula5 will deliver authID’s biometric capabilities to organizations using Microsoft identity platforms, including Microsoft Entra and Microsoft Verified ID. The integration enables enterprises to verify user identities during onboarding and re-authenticate individuals during sensitive transactions or support interactions. Formula5, recognized as a Microsoft Advanced Specialist in Identity and Access Management and Data Security, brings deep expertise in implementing secure identity frameworks across regulated sectors such as financial services, healthcare, energy, and life sciences.

Modern identity security strategies focus on both protection and user experience by enabling secure onboarding for employees, contractors, and customers while safeguarding call centers and help desks against impersonation attacks. They support continuous biometric authentication for high-risk activities, ensuring that the person behind the device is always verified strengthening Zero Trust frameworks. At the same time, reducing reliance on passwords helps streamline access, creating a smoother and more secure user experience.

Pete Orologas, CEO of Formula5, stated that the partnership enables the company to offer stronger identity verification solutions that reduce fraud risks while maintaining a seamless user experience.

Rhon Daguro, CEO of authID, emphasized that identity is central to modern cybersecurity strategies, particularly in cloud-driven environments. By combining Formula5’s Microsoft implementation expertise with authID’s biometric technology, organizations can enhance security while maintaining operational efficiency. The joint solution delivers a unified identity framework that integrates governance, digital credentials, and biometric authentication, helping enterprises secure both workforce and customer access across cloud and hybrid infrastructures.

The partnership is particularly relevant for organizations operating in highly regulated industries, where identity assurance and compliance are critical. By adopting a biometric-first approach, enterprises can strengthen security controls while enabling modern, frictionless digital experiences. This collaboration reflects a growing industry shift toward passwordless authentication and identity-centric security, as businesses seek to protect access in increasingly complex and distributed IT environments.
