AIM Intelligence, a South Korean startup specializing in AI security, has closed a $7M (KRW 10B) Series A funding round. The round was led by Samsung Venture Investment, with participation from existing investor Mirae Asset Capital alongside new backers Smilegate Investment and Forest Ventures. The latest round brings the company’s total funding to approximately $8.4M (KRW 12B).
AIM Intelligence has announced a $7 million Series A funding round to expand its AI security platform and address rising enterprise risks associated with generative AI adoption. The company specializes in securing large language models (LLMs), AI agents, and physical AI systems through integrated offensive and defensive security solutions.
The funding comes at a time when organizations are rapidly adopting generative AI technologies, bringing new categories of threats such as hallucinations, jailbreaks, and prompt injection attacks into focus. AIM Intelligence is positioning itself as a key player in AI safety infrastructure, helping enterprises identify, assess, and mitigate these emerging risks at scale.
At the core of AIM Intelligence’s offering is its “spear and shield” approach, which combines AI red teaming with guardrail enforcement. The red team component actively probes AI models and their underlying systems to uncover vulnerabilities, while the guardrail solution ensures that AI systems operate within safe and controlled parameters, preventing harmful or unintended outputs.
The platform supports a wide range of AI environments, including LLMs, vision-language models (VLMs), voice systems, and multimodal AI applications. By validating its technology in real-world service environments, AIM Intelligence enables organizations to secure AI deployments across diverse use cases and industries.
AIM Intelligence has already established a strong presence in sectors such as financial services and telecommunications, delivering AI security solutions to major enterprises.
