NCS has strengthened its push into artificial intelligence by unveiling multiple strategic partnerships aimed at enhancing public safety capabilities across Singapore and the broader Asia-Pacific region. Through these collaborations, the company is actively building advanced AI-driven systems designed for high-risk, real-time operational environments.

To begin with, NCS has partnered with Mistral AI to develop AI solutions tailored for organisations operating under strict regulatory and security frameworks. By combining its systems integration expertise with Mistral AI’s advanced models, NCS intends to deliver reliable and controlled AI deployments suited for sensitive sectors. This move reflects a growing demand for AI solutions that can function effectively within tightly governed environments.

At the same time, NCS has joined forces with VAST Data to create a unified, real-time data infrastructure. This platform will support AI-powered video analytics, enabling faster and more accurate decision-making in mission-critical situations. As organisations continue to struggle with fragmented data systems, this collaboration aims to eliminate silos and improve data accessibility, thereby enhancing operational efficiency.

In addition, NCS has entered into a collaboration with Lian Xin to introduce AI-based psychological and behavioural analytics. These tools are expected to support applications such as border control, correctional management, investigative processes, and community monitoring. Furthermore, the partnership will extend into workforce development areas like training, recruitment, and daily operational coordination. Importantly, the focus remains on augmenting human decision-making rather than replacing personnel.

Meanwhile, NCS is also advancing into the field of physical AI through a memorandum of understanding with AGIBOT and Huazhi Tiancheng. This collaboration will focus on developing humanoid and robotics-based systems tailored for complex and high-risk environments. As physical AI gains traction globally, these solutions are expected to play a crucial role in enhancing automation capabilities beyond traditional software applications.

Highlighting the strategic importance of these initiatives, Sam Liew, Chief Executive Officer of NCS stated, “Public safety environments demand a high level of reliability, which is why technology must be built and deployed for live, operational use. These partnerships bring together the right expertise, from data infrastructure and advanced intelligence to Physical AI, to build mission-critical AI systems that public safety agencies can rely on, so that operators on the ground can sense threats earlier, make faster decisions and respond more safely in complex, fast-moving environments.”

Although NCS has not disclosed specific deployment timelines or agency clients, the initiative clearly signals a shift toward operational AI systems that enable faster sensing, decision-making, and response capabilities. As a subsidiary of Singtel, NCS continues to expand its footprint in government technology, positioning itself at the forefront of AI innovation in public safety.
