MyCISO, an award-winning cybersecurity software provider, has announced a strategic partnership with Carahsoft Technology Corp. to deliver its comprehensive SecurityOS platform to government agencies. Through this collaboration, both companies aim to help Chief Information Security Officers (CISOs) and security leaders manage cyber risk, compliance, and resilience more effectively at scale.
Under the agreement, Carahsoft will act as MyCISO’s Master Government Aggregator®, ensuring that the SecurityOS platform becomes widely accessible across the U.S. public sector. Moreover, the platform will be distributed through Carahsoft’s extensive reseller network and made available via major procurement contracts, including NASA Solutions for Enterprise-Wide Procurement (SEWP) V, The Interlocal Purchasing System (TIPS), and National Association of State Procurement Officials (NASPO) ValuePoint. As a result, agencies can more easily adopt a unified cybersecurity management solution without navigating complex procurement hurdles.
Importantly, this partnership addresses a long-standing challenge in government cybersecurity. Many agencies still rely on fragmented tools and manual processes, which often lead to inefficiencies and gaps in visibility. MyCISO’s SecurityOS directly tackles this issue by consolidating multiple security functions into a single, integrated platform. Consequently, organizations can streamline their operations while improving decision-making.
“Across Government, we consistently see strong security intent undermined by fragmented tooling and point-in-time compliance,” said Dane Meah, CEO of MyCISO. “MyCISO was built to solve that exact problem, giving agencies a real-time view of their security programs. Carahsoft’s reach, trust and understanding of Government procurement makes them the ideal partner to bring SecurityOS into U.S. Public Sector agencies.”
Furthermore, the SecurityOS platform enables agencies to move beyond spreadsheets and disconnected systems by offering centralized management of security frameworks, compliance requirements, risk assessments, and incident response planning. In addition, it provides real-time visibility, automated reporting, and risk-prioritized improvement plans that align with public sector governance standards.
With these capabilities, agencies can significantly enhance their cybersecurity posture. For instance, they can centralize governance across multiple frameworks, improve executive visibility into cyber risks, and strengthen supply chain oversight. At the same time, the platform helps reduce administrative overhead by replacing manual workflows with automation, thereby increasing efficiency.
“Government agencies are under increasing pressure to demonstrate accountability, resilience and measurable cybersecurity outcomes,” said Steve Jacyna, Director of Innovative Cybersecurity Solutions at Carahsoft. “Through this partnership, Carahsoft and our reseller partners look forward to working with MyCISO to help agencies operationalize cybersecurity governance and clearly communicate risk and progress to executive leadership.”
Overall, this collaboration marks a significant step forward in modernizing cybersecurity management for public sector organizations, enabling them to adopt a more proactive, data-driven approach to risk and compliance.
